Turns out it was Cody's ex who wanted him back and suddenly kissed him, exactly at that moment when Maddy came into the room.

"Im sorry Maddy, really" he grabs her hands.

The boys also came home in between and we're watching from de side lines, waiting for what's about to come. "Its alright Cody, were not even together" she gives him a reasuring smile.

Then Cody says something that makes us all gasp "but i want us to be" Maddy her eyes widen "w-what?"

"Ever since i saw you, something in me clicked. Your eyes, your smile, it makes me happy. When your gone i want to text you, and when i see girls i look at them, hoping one of them is you. Im scared Maddy, its all new for me. But are you willing to try? Is the feeling mutual?" Then their lips lock and Maddy brings him closer.

I look at the others "this is our clue, time to go!" I push them all out of the flat "shall we get dinner somewhere? im hungry" Dylan asks and the rest agrees.

"where is Topper?" i ask.

"i got him!" Zack comes out with him "I didn't want to leave him with those lovebirds" he laughs and gives me the leash. "taco bell? I crave tacos" I giggle and feel Axel's arm around my waist. He gives me a 'this okay?' look and I nod, watching Dylan talking to Brent about Harry Potter.

Secretly i feel that safety bubble up again. It hurts me because apparently Dylan has some feelings for me too. but what he does not see he does not know.

Time skip

"Im so so full!" Brent Claimes and rubs his belly. "Then you maybe didn't had to eat 3 desserts babe" Zack laughs. "But strawberry cake is just so good!" He groans, making us all laugh.

"Your hair smells like strawberry's" says Dylan who is sitting next to me. I nervously chuckle "thanks, i think" he places his hand on my knee under the table "Would you like to go to the arcade with me tonight? I heard a new game is out" I look at Axel and see that he looks at Dylan jealous. "ehm yea sure" i say and give Ax a 'sorry' look.

He turns around. Great, now he's disappointed that I said yes to Dylan. Ugh what should I do? They are both so nice, but I know a little more about Axel. Maybe I should get to know Dylan a little better and then make my choice? I decide to ask my best friend for some advice, if she can get away from Cody, sticky ball she is.

"I have to go guys, see you later!" I say and want to put some money on the table when Axel puts his hand on mine "its one me, that's what gentlemans do" he says, eyeing Dylan.

I let it slip and not without emotion and then say goodbye to the rest. Once outside I pick up my phone "hey Mads, can i come over?"

"oh yea sure! Cody was about to leave anyway"

"you aren't planning on replacing me huh?" I ask, half seriously.

"No of course not! I'm your best friend babe, now come over!" I hang up and walk to her dorm a few blocks from the restaurant.

My thoughts wander. Its hard to decide this all. I mean i like Axel and Dylan both, but i thought the feeling was mutual only by Axel, not both! So whatever i will do, i will disappoint someone and i don't want that but lets see what Mads says.

When i am inside we sit at the dining table "spill" she says, taking a sip of her tea. I'll tell her about the situation. About that I like them both and that Axel told me that Dylan, just like himself, likes me too. She listens and nods now and then. "Difficult situation, I'm glad that Dylan is still a big part of his priorities"

I nod "That's right, but what should I do now?" she thinks "of course I'm not you, but what if you're honest with them, and maybe let them both go on dates with you?" I give her a hug "great idea! thanks love" she waves it off "there are best friends for" I remember that she also is in a relationship "how are you and Cody? All that drama with me made me forget to ask you" I sigh. "don't worry. and I'm fine! I forgave him and we are taking it slow, but it isn't official"

"not yet!" i say and laugh, giving her another hug "im so happy for you!" she laughs "now lets take a break from boys, wanna go swimming with me? there is a new pool nearby"

I look at the clock, 7 o'clock. oh well, the arcade doesn't open until 9PM anyway. I'll send Dylan a text.

To Dylan : Hey Dyl! Going to take a swim with Maddy, pick me up at half past 8?

Within a minute i recieve a reply

To Olivia : sure, will be there!

I walk to Maddy "you have a swimsuit i can borrow?"

"Girl, i got you" she laughs and walks to her walk in closet. Its a small one, but what do you expect from a dorm? When were both having a backpack full of stuff Maddy grabs her car keys

"Pool here we come!"
