In the garden

I sit here in my garden.

Staring at the beautiful sky.

Watching as the stars twinkle,

And a few clouds slowly pass by.

For a few minutes, I didn't even realize

What exactly was going on in my mind.

Until I saw the pretty moon,

And the first thing that I thought of was you.

All this time, you didn't leave my head.

You stayed there and didn't pay rent.

But I don't mind, really, I don't.

What matters to me is that you're always in my thoughts.

With that being said, I once again smiled.

Realizing that I'd never felt like this in a while.

How you make my day by simply telling me that you love me,

And how I smile like an idiot when I imagine you smiling at me.

I've never been this deep into the ocean.

An ocean full of genuine love and emotions.

That for a second I thought I was lost, and I'd drown.

But then I saw you on the ocean ground.

You opened your arms when you saw me swimming toward you,

At first, I was confused, I didn't have a clue.

But when I gave in and wrapped my arms around you

You held me so tight that all my broken pieces were glued.

I didn't know how much I love you,

Until I realized how much I think of you.

Normally, I'd run away from it.

But now I know that it's worth fighting for because it's you.
