Elian knew that Luffy and Nami would jump through the middle when the marines came. So he was just waiting there for them, thinking about what he should do when he met them.

For a nørmal boy like him who has no special powers currently, it was hard for him to think of a way to commit an act related to themes as everyone here probably has more strength than him.

On the boat, he clicked on one of the buttons that was in the small paddling room. He heard a strange sound as he turned towards it; he saw a big mouth on the boat front. 

He picked some wood, which was part of the passenger ship that got destroyed by a cannon ball. 

He put that piece of wood inside the boat's mouth as it disappeared in it. He also heard a notification as he did that.

"Oh, it works like this. Then the other button is probably to make the boat tiny."

Elian heard the voice of Luffy's attack. "So the battle is over finally. Luffy sent the Alvida flying with that attack, as I remember. And now, Nami should be coming down with all the treasure."

Just as he thought, a boat came down from the above. And an orange-haired girl came down with the help of ropes with it.

She looked at Elian for a moment weirdly; she wonders where he's from because of his weird clothes.

She thought of him as a passenger from the ship and ignored him. Focusing on tying up the treasure she had stolen.

Elian was stunned as he looked at her; she was beautiful and looked completely real, unlike anime. She was the first character Elian saw closely in this world.

"Hello, you're Nami, right?" Elian asked even though he was sure of her being Nami.

He doesn't want her to know about his knowledge of one piece or other worlds, so he just pretended to not know her completely.

Nami, hearing her name coming out of a stranger, was surprised as she looked at him suspiciously. "How do you know my name? And who are you?"

"Come on my boat; we have to get out of here first."

But Nami ignored him and went back to packing her treasure. While she was curious how he knows her name, she couldn't just come with a random guy because of that.

"You won't be able to save your village even if you gather 100 million berries. If you want to know more, come on my boat first." Elian said, knowing full well she won't be able to ignore him this time.

And it worked as Nami stopped for a moment as she jumped in Elian's boat and grabbed his collars. "What!? How did you know about that? No-wait, why do you think I won't be able to save my village?" Nami really seems sensitive as she asks him.

"I'll tell you, but don't you think we should get out of here first?" Elian said as he pointed at the approaching marine ships.

Nami releases him. "You better tell me everything after this." Then she transferred her treasure she had stolen to Elian's boat. 

Marines started firing at the pirates above fighting. Right after a few seconds, another boat splashed from the above with two people on it.

Elian recognized both of them at first glance. One of them was the main character of this world, and the other was the future of the marines.

Elian thought about how many coins he would get if he killed both of them. But he doesn't have the power to kill them, nor can he withstand the consequences for that.

Soon after, both parties left the place to escape from marines separately. Sailing through the sea...

"Sigh~ that was close; we almost got caught." Elian said while lying on the boat, exhausted.

Nami, on the other hand, was waiting for him to spill the beans. But seeing that he isn't saying anything, Nami said in annoyance.

"What are you waiting for now? Tell me how you get that information, and what do you mean by I won't be able to save my village?"

"Sure, sure, I'll tell you everything, but first, you have to pay for it." Elian said as he thought getting berries from her would probably be considered an act of greed.

"What? No way, f-forget it." Nami said while hesitating as she remembered what he said about 100 million berries.

"Collecting berries won't help your village anyway, and if my information is worthless for you, I'll return the payment."

'I must know about this, and I can steal it back from him anyways. I should agree for now.' Nami thought as she agreed and gave all the treasure she had stolen from those two ships.

Elian, after receiving the money, also received notification from the system.

'Woah!! 10x extra reward is amazing. Will that be the same case for all themes for the first time? What can I buy from a shop with that many coins?' Elian wondered, as he hasn't checked the shop yet.

But he put those things aside as he needs to tell Nami about the Arlong scam.

Elian then told Nami how Arlong has conspired with a marine officer who will take all of Nami's berries. And how Arlong has never left any village without destroying it completely. He also told her that Arlong wouldn't leave her village even if she gave him the amount of berries.

"W-what!!? That can't be; I worked for him for 8 years, and he said he doesn't lie about deals related to berries." Nami couldn't believe it because for 8 years Arlong always said he doesn't lie.

"Really? You believed someone who destroyed countless villages and also killed Bellemere." Elian ridiculed her as he wouldn't even believe himself, let alone a pirate like Arlong. 

Listening to him, Nami realized how big of a fool she was to believe in Arlong words. 

'Well, it's not really her fault as she was only ten years old when they made the deal.' Elain knows a child at that age believes almost everything they are told.

"But wait, how do you know all this? Also, how do you know about Bellemere?" Nami asked, as she had never seen or heard about him in Cocoyasi village.

"I'm just a researcher who traveled all over the world for knowledge. So I know many things, and I knew Bellemere when she was in the Marines, so when I heard that she's dead, I researched the cause and found all that." Elian replied while adding some lies.

Nami decided to believe him because he knew many things about her situation, but Nami was not sure about one thing.

"How can you travel all over the world when you look that young?" Nami asked.

Elian was surprised that she noticed something like this, but he still answered without any flaws. "You know, traveling has many benefits. I found a magical herb that makes anyone look younger."

Nami nodded, then stayed quiet to think of a solution for her village situation. She didn't consider that the guy sitting next to her might be able to help her...
