Nami nodded, then stayed quiet to think of a solution for her village's situation. She didn't consider that the boy sitting next to her might be able to help her.

The shop had many unknown devil fruits that he had never heard about before. There were also all types of haki, including a higher version of it, but it was way too expensive.
The thing Elian was most interested in was the marines' six special techniques called Rokushiki. All of them were priced at 100 coins for basic mastery.
But he decided to buy it after using the gacha tickets, as he could get anything from it.

He knew that haki alone could make one powerful, but that needed intense training, and he didn't come to this world to train.
He had a system to help him as well as his knowledge of this world; both were enough to make him unrivaled.
He took out the strength potion and drank it to see its effects. It tasted good, but after drinking it, he didn't feel any different.
'Since it increases attributes, there must be a way to look at my attributes, like a status from fictional novels.' Elian thought, and as expected, a screen appeared.

"Tch! Do I need to gain more strength before I can use these skills without any issues? What a bummer."
"What are you doing?" Nami asked, curious as she saw him pressing his finger against a coin.
"Nothing, just bored. Anyways, where are we going?"
"I was originally going to Orange Town, but I changed my mind. I'll be going back to my village to confirm if what you said is true."
"Oh, I'll go with you then. We are in the same boat anyway," Elian said, as his plan was to go there too.
"Arlong is dangerous. You have to be careful and hide when you reach there," Nami warned.
Elian nodded, then both of them proceeded to talk about other things. Elian told her many things about the Grand Line.
He also told her about devil fruits and how powerful famous pirates across the Grand Line are.
He thought that by telling her how powerful other pirates were, she would fear Arlong less.
He planned to make her his crewmate, and he didn't want a crewmate who got scared after seeing any pirates. He always hated how Usopp and Nami got scared every time they met a strong opponent in the anime...

It took several days before they reached Cocoyasi Village. Nami and Elian became friends during the time they spent on the boat together.
They stopped the boat on the other side of the island to avoid Arlong pirates.
"Be sure to tell Arlong that you have almost collected 100 million berries. Then you can check for yourself if what I said is true or not," Elian said as he and Nami parted ways.
Elian started wandering on the island, going towards the Cocoyasi Village residential area.
As he reached the village, it looked abandoned, and he couldn't see anyone outside of their houses. While exploring the village, he encountered a fishman.
The fishman looked at him and started running towards him. "Who are you!?"
Elian didn't reply, knowing that foreigners weren't welcomed by Arlong pirates here. So he prepared to use his newfound strength and skills.
"Wait! What are you doing? Come here and hide before they catch you!" Elian heard a girl's voice coming from his left.
But Elian didn't stop and used his finger gun on the approaching fishman, piercing through his chest with his middle finger.
"Wow, it really worked. Using 200 coins for those items was worth it!"
"What!?" The girl who was watching Elian was shocked. She couldn't believe that a human had defeated a fishman in an instant.

Elian was going through the shop, trying to find useful things. Some time later, he found potions in the shop.
'Oh, I can buy these too? I can solve my lack of strength problems with this.' He clicked on it and found many potions. There were basic and advanced potions, which increased agility, strength, endurance, etc...
'I need more strength to use those skills. Also, I'll gain speed from those skills anyway, so no need for that. I'll buy strength and endurance potions first.'
Elian bought one each of advanced strength and endurance potions, and the effects were noticeable instantaneously.
