"Where's Ndulou?" Gabriel wonders what his wife is doing alone in the middle of the hallway, crying while holing on the clothes of their son.
"He is gone. Gabriel." Nida jumped into his arms and sobbed into his chest. Gabriel was distraught. He was still confused about what Nida was doing, so he just rubbed the back of his wife to comfort her.
"I'm sorry." Gabriel said, while thinking about their poor baby who left the world too soon. Gabriel then carried his wife back to the room because she was not stopping to cry.
"Where is the nanny? Where is Ndulou?" Gabriel asked Nida after she finally calmed down. He cannot see his son's body and wonders if his wife ordered him to be laid somewhere.
"He is gone." Nida replied with unfocused eyes. She kept the baby clothes on her arms as if she was still cradling Ndulou in her arms.
