I live on a small island located in Odin's archipelago, my village is small no more than 100 people live here, we mainly focus on fishing and farming livestock. My father's name is Magnus, he is a huge man, and has become colder and harder due to the years he has spent fishing at sea, my names Hunter, I am 19 summers old and I'm hairy, tall and buff as most Vikings are, I was born with a very rare condition named Odin's sight. Due to this condition, one of my eyes are emerald green and the other as red as fire, most people in the village are scared of me because of Odin's sight, they say that my future is dark and they don't like the uncertainty of my future nor of how I look because of the two different eyes. But there is one person in the village that has never left me alone and has never been scared of my condition, her name is Asta.
She is the daughter of our chief, she has beautiful red hair that she never ties up but always makes it neat, she is a small woman, 18 summers old, and her eyes are an intense shade of grey, when she looks into my eyes it feels as if I get lost in hers and all my fears fade away, her father has forbidden us to see each other due to his fear that my condition may cause her to harm one day, but we have never let that stop us, over the years I've developed a lot of feelings for Asta.
I will tell you my story. I will tell you of all the pain I have endured and all the challenges I have faced so that you may learn of me and my past. I have fought and killed many men and beast.
