11: SABRINA - The Big Search For Danny

Around 10 minutes after Danny went back downstairs I started to get pretty bored and was dying to call Olivia. Lily just wouldn't leave the room so I couldn't call Olivia. I texted Olivia to see if she was coming home soon and she said the plane would probably land in around 45 minutes and she'd be home in 1.5 hours. That seemed safe so I decided to go upstairs to call Olivia but as I got up Lily came up to me and said "where are you going Sabrina?! I'm bored to death!! Let's play a game!"

"Why don't you go down and ask Danny." I said.

"No. I wanna play hide and go seek and it's more fun with more people" Lily pleaded.

I was about to say no again when suddenly it hit me that that's the perfect game where Danny would probably turn into a ghost to hide.

"Ok. Fine. Let's call down the stairs for him." I said.

"DANNY! DANNY!" We both called out but there was no response. We called out again but still no reply so we went down to look for him. Lily and I searched everywhere! Danny wasn't asleep in the bed and I knocked on the bathroom door and called out his name but there was no reply. The door was also locked for some reason.

"Why don't you go up and call mom and tell her that Danny is missing." I told Lily and when she went upstairs I snuck to the storage door and typed in the code but the door handle was stuck and wouldn't open. It was cold and a little wet, and it almost seemed like the handle was frozen. Suddenly I heard my mom's voice from upstairs so I immediately locked the storage door and then she came down with Lily. "I just called the Fentons asking them to see if they could call Danny to see where he is. I'll help you girls check down here again" My mom said. For the next 5-10 minutes my mom looked around and called out Danny's name. I knocked on the bathroom door even harder but still no reply. My mom was staring to look pretty nervous when suddenly I said "Danny is probably hiding in the storage room!! The door handle is ice cold and nearly frozen shut!". My mom got angry and said "No he isn't and this handle doesn't feel cold at all!" I was 2 seconds away from going to the bathroom and pick the lock to prove he wasn't there either when suddenly I had a weird feeling in my body and it was like I had no control of it anymore. I blacked out and when I came back to I saw Danny right in front of me and he had come out of the bathroom.

"How were you in the bathroom the whole time?! I knocked on the door and yelled your name 3 times before and after my mom got home!!!!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry. I think I accidentally fell asleep since my stress and depression kept me up so late last night." Danny said.

"I still think that you were behind the door to the storage room the whole time!!" I said and then I went upstairs but as I went up the stairs I was still pretty lightheaded so I said to myself"why the heck do I feel so weird?"

At dinner time Danny's parents went crazy about Danny falling asleep in the bathroom and "scaring" us by disappearing. In the end they decided to work things out by giving Danny's phone number to my parents. Danny asked if he could have their phone number first and then he'd text them back with his.

My parents agreed and then he texted them. Then I said "what about me? I'm alone with Danny a lot of the time too."

"Ok. What's your phone number?" Danny asked.

"I'd prefer to get your phone number first!" I said.

"Don't be rude Sabrina! Tell him your number."

"Fine. It's 978-204-2705." I said.

"No it isn't! I'm sorry our daughter has been so inconsiderate of you Danny. Her phone number is 970-760-2671." Said my dad and I just couldn't believe what he said so I got up and went to the living room. As I left I heard Danny say "I'll text her now." But I didn't hear my phone anywhere. Then I remembered that the last time I had it was in the basement when I was trying to get my mom to open the storage room door.

I went into the kitchen and said "I'm sorry but I left my phone in the basement during the big search for Danny. Is it ok if I go down and get it?"

"Of course!" Said Mr. Fenton and then I went down. I looked all over the area of the storage room door but couldn't find it on the floor or a shelf. I started looking on the floor in other places when suddenly I heard my phone ring.
