*Flashback Before Party

"hey mika... yeah I know... okey... don't tell me anything else okey... alright alright, you are the CEO..." Mika's voice rang out from the cell phone I was holding, she screamed saying I was 'ignoring' the Company and asked me to come back.

To be honest, I was rarely in the company either, I was just giving directions to do something that would make the company a big profit.

I gave orders to mika to do things and run the Company that I trusted her with. Several times mika said that the plans I gave to the Company were very unreasonable and several times she yelled at me, well not that this disrespects me, but we are close friends and she understands me like I understand her.

Every time I gave an order or a plan that she thought didn't make sense, it ended with her apologizing to me.

"Don't kidding me! You are the PRESIDENT of this billionaire company, act like that you asshole!" Mika's voice rang out and if there was anyone near me then they would hear it too. Even I put the phone away from my ear "Okey Okey Calm Down....i just need something new... Some new of fresh air"

"SHUT UP! Don't say anything! You never go to the office and just order me to do what you want-"

Before she could say anything, I cut her off "And always make a huge profit for the company..." And Mika was silent for a moment. "I hate you"

"haha... alright, don't tell anyone okey..." I said to her "I need to organize my stuff here..."

"Including her?" Mika said mockingly.

"Yeah, including her" I said seriously, I didn't want any more attention and scandal.

As I said that, I heard my voice echoing and I realized that Mika was setting her phone on loud speaker mode.

I sighed, "She's in there, isn't she?".

"Yup!" Mika said loudly and looked at the woman in front of her.

"Look, I just need some new fresh air, just take it as I am on vacation... don't look for me okay, I just want some holiday" I said quickly and hung up the phone, all I heard was a 'wait...!' sound.

After hanging up, I took out my cigarette and took a deep drag.

"Huffttt..." I sat on the porch of the house I had just lived in for the day, "why did I have to move here?" I looked at the panel in front of my eyes that said I had to move here and find out what world I was living in.

I looked at the mission that was displayed in front of me clearly, I thought why did this system come after I was born 25 years in this world? And I thought that the world I lived in today was just an ordinary modern world and I was given a second chance for this.

I thought hard and took a drag on my cigarette and let out the smoke, although this made others calm but my mind was not calm at all.

"Damn it why now?!"

I took another drag on my cigarette and stroked my temples, I didn't want to do the mission given by this system, but the consequences of failure displayed by this system scared me.

I stood up from my seat and wanted to go into the house, but the woman's voice rang in my ears. "it will kill you, you know?"

I looked at the origin of the voice and saw a young woman in a singlet shirt and short jeans, with a necklace on.

"What?" I said to the woman and got a small laugh from her face. I hid my annoyed face and smiled at her. "This?" I showed her my cigarette "Don't worry, I work out too".

"It's not about work out, but you know smoking makes 480,000 deaths per year in the united states? It will kill you"

"Car accident can kill me too" I said with a smile on my face and put out the cigarette I was holding before.

I looked at the woman's face and it was like I recognized that face somewhere. "hey, have we met before?"

"What? No, but it's not that bad..." The woman said with embarrassment on her face.

"I am not hitting on you, I am 25 years old, I am gonna go to jail if I was hitting on you" I said with a smirk on my face. "I am Seth Olivander" I stuck out my hand to the woman who was surprised by her misunderstanding.

She stuck out her hand awkwardly "Call me Kat, and no, we've never met before."

"Ohh... Well I'll be your neighbor from now on. I hope to be a good neighbor to you."

I looked at her face carefully, I almost recognized this face somewhere. 'Where have I seen her face before?!'.

Kat who saw that I was watching her, made her quite embarrassed and lowered her face. With me still watching her face and Kat looking down, awkward silence creeps her out, "um... I have a party tonight at my friend's house... do you want to come?"

Kat had no idea what she was talking about, asking a grown man to a kids party, a highschool party. That seemed odd.

"nah... I am to old for highschool party, besides I have to organize my stuff" I said because I knew her invitation was just for being nice.

Kat sighed at my rejection, "Well alright, oh yeah by the way, the party is in front of your house, right there" she pointed to the house across the street from mine.

"hufttt... well I guess I am sleeping late tonight..." I sighed and gave her a small chuckle "You said like 40's"

"What? Like I said, I am just a handsome 25 year old man, but my body needs rest too you know"

Hearing me say that, made Kat laugh and mock me, "hahaha, I need to go somewhere, see you old man!" Kat said and ran away from me,

"you little...!" I cursed with smile on my face.

I swear I saw that woman's face somewhere... but my memory didn't give me the answer to my question. A few minutes of silence on the porch with no answer, I finally gave up and decided to think about it later.

The main thing I had to do right now was to know the world I was reincarnated in, so I took my car keys and tried to figure out things around the neighborhood.

Since the system told me to move to this house, there are must be some clues in the neighborhood of this house.

*KAT POV

Oh my GOD! He is so handsome!..... I saw a very handsome new neighbor today! I thought I'd get a neighbor with a family or some kind of freak, but I didn't know I'd get such a handsome and friendly neighbor!

When I found out that someone was moving into the house across from Hannah, I thought I would say hello and maybe meet a new kid like Hannah, but I didn't expect to get a super handsome and kind new neighbor.

The first time I saw him sitting on the porch with an upset face and like he was thinking about something, it made me want to hug him and calm his heart.

'damn it! You have a boyfriend kat!'

I took a deep breath and let it out, as he stood up and wanted to go into his house, I finally called him.

We talked a bit and I scolded him a bit because he's a smoker which he shouldn't do, but I was annoyed with his behavior, I wanted to throw the cigarette away and scold him more like a girlfriend!.

Seth Olivander, he is 25 years old. Ughh why he must be older than me! I thought he was 18!.

As he looked at me seriously, I felt embarrassed by his gaze which made me feel awkward and said something embarrassing. "..... do you want to come?"

'what the f is wrong with me?!' I said in my heart and hoped he would reject my invitation.... Well half of it. I felt happy and disappointed when he declined my invitation.

He acted and talked like an old man, and I didn't see anyone else in the house besides him. It seems like he was alone when he moved into this house, huffttt this makes me hard to move out from this city!

After talking with Seth, I went home with a disappointed face. "mom can we not move out?" I looked into my mom's eyes with puppy dogs but we already planned for months and I know we can't cancel it.
