However, they caution us that Zhang Wei and Wang Shan are becoming increasingly suspicious."

Lie Fan nodded, his expression thoughtful. "We had anticipated as much. The more we disrupt their control, the more vigilant they will become. It is crucial that we maintain our discretion and continue to provide subtle but effective support."

Chen Gong and Lu Su joined them, each carrying additional reports and recommendations. "My lord," Chen Gong said, "we have prepared contingency plans should Zhang Wei and Wang Shan attempt to retaliate or tighten their grip on Liu Zhang. We must be ready to adapt and respond swiftly."

Lu Su added, "Furthermore, we have identified potential allies within Chengdu who might be sympathetic to our cause. If Zhang Song, Fa Zheng, and Meng Da can secure their loyalty, our influence will grow even stronger."

Lie Fan listened intently to the words of his advisors. "Excellent work, all of you. We must continue to support Zhang Song and the others, offering them the tools they need to navigate through Zhang Wei and Wang Shan in Liu Zhang's court."

He turned to Jia Xu. "Draft another series of messages, reinforcing our commitment and providing additional strategic advice. Emphasize the importance of patience and careful maneuvering. We must ensure that Zhang Song, Fa Zheng, and Meng Da always feel supported."

Jia Xu bowed and left to carry out his instructions. Lie Fan then addressed Chen Gong and Lu Su. "Prepare additional gifts, ones that will subtly enhance their standing in Chengdu without arousing suspicion. We must continue to build their influence and ensure that they remain indispensable to Liu Zhang's court."

As the days passed, Lie Fan's network continued to operate with precision and secrecy. Xu Kai and the Orioles maintained their steady flow of communications and support for Zhang Song, Fa Zheng, and Meng Da.

In Chengdu, Zhang Song, Fa Zheng, and Meng Da worked tirelessly, leveraging the resources and strategic advice provided by Lie Fan, to influence Liu Zhang slowly and search for allies in Liu Zhang's court.

Despite their successes, the trio remained cautious. They were acutely aware of the dangers and the potential for backlash. However, the support from Lie Fan increase the confidence needed to navigate the treacherous traps that Zhang Wei and Wang Shan had created.

As the operation progressed, Lie Fan received regular updates, each one affirming the progress being made in Chengdu. He knew that there was still a long road ahead, and the ultimate loyalty of Zhang Song, Fa Zheng, and Meng Da was not yet secured.

However, the foundations had been laid, and with continued effort and strategic support, the possibility of gaining three formidable advisors grew ever closer.

At the Xiapi Academy, Zhuge Xuan, Lu Zhi, and Cai Yong gathered in a quiet, well appointed room. Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun sat before them, both acting curious and slightly apprehensive as they knew what would happen.

Sima Yi told them that this would happen sooner or later, as Lie Fan after meeting with the big three Informed Sima Yi that Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun's request had been approved, and told Sima Yi to inform Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun which why he does so.

The air was thick with anticipation as Zhuge Xuan, Lu Zhi, and Cai Yong prepared to discuss Lie Fan's decision to have both Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun graduate early.

Cai Yong from the side also added, "This is a significant step in your journey. Zhuge Liang, you will be heading to Jing Province to study under Sima Hui. His teachings will refine your strategic mind and broaden your understanding.

Then he turned to Lu Xun, "As for you Lu Xun, you will be sent to Lujiang to learn under your uncle and Wang Lang. There, you will gain practical experience in governance and leadership."

Lu Zhi addressed Lu Xun, "Boyan, you have a bright future ahead of you. Absorb all the knowledge you can, and always remain humble and diligent, if anything happens please consult with your uncle and Master Wang Lang."

Cai Yong showed a paternal smile, and added, "Both of you must remember that learning never truly ends. Embrace every experience, and use it to become the best versions of yourselves to support Our Lord in the future."

The two young men stood, bowing deeply to their tutor for several years. "Thank you for your guidance and teachings," they said in unison. "We will carry your wisdom with us always."

With that, the meeting concluded. Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun left the room, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension about the paths that lay ahead.

As they stepped out into the courtyard, Zhuge Liang turned to Lu Xun. "It seems our journey is just beginning, Boyan. Let us make the most of it and also celebrate with Zhongda, maybe treat him at Serenity Inn."

Lu Xun nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "Indeed, Brother Kongming. I'm sure that Brother Zhongda would pout that we waste his time to spend with Sister Wannian." as Lu Xun said these words, he laughed thinking of Sima Yi's expression.

Several days later, the atmosphere at Xiapi Academy was vibrant with celebration. Banners and lanterns adorned the courtyards, and students and teachers alike were in high spirits.

The air was filled with laughter, music, and the scent of delicious food being prepared for the grand feast. Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun, the academy's first official graduates, were the guests of honor.

Zhuge Liang, dressed in his finest robes, stood with a serene expression as he greeted well-wishers. Lu Xun, equally resplendent, smiled broadly, clearly enjoying the festivities.

The contrast between their graduations and Sima Yi's solemn departure was stark, highlighting the unique paths each of them took, where even though they were young Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun wanted recognition.

As for Sima Yi, he doesn't need anyone's recognition but Lie Fan, the Lie Family, and Wannian recognition and no one else, that's why he took the path he took where he graduated after finishing many tests.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the academy, a large stage was set up for speeches and performances. Lie Fan, along with his advisors, took their places at the forefront of the gathering.

Lie Fan stepped forward, his voice carrying across the assembly. "Today, we celebrate not just the graduation of two exceptional young men, but also the beginning of a new era for our academy. Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun have shown remarkable dedication, intelligence, and promise. Their achievements reflect the values and aspirations we hold dear."

The crowd erupted into applause, and Lie Fan gestured for Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun to join him on the stage. As they did, he continued, "Kongming, Boyan, your journeys don't end but have just started, but remember that this place will always be your home. Carry the knowledge and wisdom you've gained here with you, and continue to strive for greatness."

Zhuge Liang bowed deeply. "Thank you, My Lord. I am deeply honored by the faith you have placed in me. I will endeavor to meet your expectations and contribute to the prosperity of our land."

Lu Xun followed suit, his voice clear and confident. "I am equally grateful, My Lord. The education and experiences I've had here have prepared me well for the challenges ahead. I will do my utmost to serve you and our people."

With that, the formalities concluded, and the festivities resumed with even greater enthusiasm. Performances of music and dance entertained the guests, and tables were laden with a grand choice of food.

Sima Yi, who had been quietly observing from the sidelines, approached Zhuge Liang and Lu Xun. "Congratulations, Kongming, Boyan. Don't forget the promise you have made to me, come back to Xiapi when you have gained the experience you wanted.

Zhuge Liang chuckled, clasping Sima Yi's shoulder. "We will uphold our promise, Brother Zhongda. Tonight, let's simply enjoy the moment the three of us have together, as we will not see each other for a long time."

Lu Xun nodded in agreement. "Indeed, Brother Zhongda. Tonight, let us celebrate and enjoy our time together! As for heavy things, let's think of it tomorrow!"

As they toasted to their futures, Zhuge Liang, Lu Xun, and Sima Yi knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together with the born they have created, one that will last a lifetime.
