I Needed That.

We just said hello,

Then we talked.

And that hello was at the right time,

Because it was a conversation I needed.

Why did I need that first conversation we had?

I needed somebody to talk to,

I needed a laugh and a smile,

I needed understanding.

Maybe this sense of longing is enough,

Because my life right now is tough.

I'm not even sure if I should continue.

For I don't know if I'll be back to whole.
