Beginning of the end

Ace Cier was sitting in his high school classroom, bored out of his mind.

He stared at the clock, willing it to move faster so that he could go home.

But then something strange happened.

The walls started to shake, and the windows rattled in their frames.

Ace stood up, wondering what was going on. And then he heard the screams.

He rushed to the window and looked outside. It was chaos.

People were running in all directions, and he could see people walking among each other and saw blood and gore even people eating each other.

It was the zombie apocalypse.

Ace's heart was pounding as he ran to the door, but it wouldn't budge.

He could hear the zombies getting closer, their moans filling the hallway.

He knew that he needed to find a way out, and fast.

He looked around the classroom and saw that the windows were barred shut.

But then he noticed something strange happening.

In his vision, he could see information about his own status and abilities, as if it was some kind of augmented reality overlay.

He rubbed his eyes, trying to make sense of what he was seeing.

And then he realized - he had been granted an System like screen.

He had the power of 0-Gravity, which meant that he can make himself and things float.

It was a small glimmer of hope, but it was something.

Ace grabbed a desk and smashed it through the window.

He climbed out, ignoring the shards of glass that cut into his skin.

He could hear the zombies getting closer, their moans getting louder.

He needed to find a weapon.

He ran down the hallway, dodging zombies and trying to find something to defend himself with.

And then he saw it - a fire extinguisher. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing.

Ace grabbed the fire extinguisher and swung it at the closest zombie.

It hit the zombie in the head, crushing its skull then a green orb of light float into Ace body from the body of a dead zombie.

Ace then started to fight a couple of other zombies and he figures out that he can lift zombies in the air and send them crashing down on the floor a couple of feet away.

He could feel his body getting stronger with each kill.

But he knew that he couldn't keep this up forever.

He needed to find a way out.

Ace ran towards the school gates, hoping that they were unlocked.

But they were chained shut. He looked around, trying to find another way out, but he was trapped.

He sat down on the ground, feeling hopeless and defeated. But then he noticed something strange.

He had the power of 0-gravity.
