The Day Before The Outing

After the lunch break there wasn't anything particular happened apart from the stares from other students. More prominently from the elite team.

Aegor was texting Daemon to meet him, which was of course, ignored by him. He wasn't particularly keen to associate with Aegor and Aurelia, since they too didn't want anything with him.

The afternoon class was basically history and lore about the war and other stuff. Since, he already had read about it on books, he wasn't keen on listening it again.

After the class, Aegor approached Daemon and his gang.

"I messaged you."

"Yeah, and I ignored that which indicates that I don't want anything to do with you."

"Why? Now that you've her number, you're suddenly just elevated to a higher status than us...?"

"Nah, I had enough with your shit. You and your twin, both of you are trash."

"Trash..." Aegor scoffed at Daemon. "You thin--"

"That's enough shit for one day, Aegor," Daemon pressed on Aegor's shoulder "Learn to respect your elders, they can give you pointers on how to pull girls." With that Daemon and gang left for their dorm rooms.

After freshen up he met Daerys at 'Happyness cafe.'

"..."

"What? Why do you have that look on your face?" Daemon asked while sipping his coffee

"... Who the fuck are these guys?"

"Oh, allow me to introduce myself or might I say reintroduce myself, my lady. I'm Arthur, your brothers old and best friend." Arthur bowed gracefully and elegantly.

"...Ah, I think I've seen you somewhere."

"I used to play with Daemon at a younger age, my lady." He eccentrically replied.

"Ah... I see, and stop calling me my lady, it's creeping me out."

"Oh, if my lady doesn't like to be called like that then should I call you, Dany, like your brot--"

"Fuck off! just call me Daerys."

"Like you wish, Daerys. But Dany--"

"What about them, brother" She interrupted Arthur's stupid babbling.

"I'm Neril Millow, I'm from a vassal family of your duchy... uh..."

"Daerys, call me by my name. You too." She pointed at Sonny, which he nodded in acknowledgement.

"I'm Sonny, I'm also your brother's friend."

She nodded. "Where did you find this bunch, brother and why did you bring them here? I thought this was our outing."

"Well, I wanted you to meet them since they are my friends."

"Friend's... I see. Had I known, I would've brought my friends too."

"I se- Wait you've friends." Daemon looked perplexed.

"Wha-- you... you think I'm loner like you?"

"But I've friends, though. I'm not a loner."

sigh. Daerys took a deep breath. "You know what, just drop it. I'll let them meet you on our next meeting."

"Alright, suit yourself," Daemon took a sip from his coffee. "Do you have the materials I asked for?"

"...Yes."

Seeing her somewhat sad expression, he deducted that she was not happy to see his tool- friends.

sigh. "Let's go shopping on the weekend."

"Whoa, are we going for a weekend trip." Arthur smacked his lips.

"No, not you. Me and my dear beloved sister only, right Dany?"

Hearing this her face lit up.

"Of course... after all I promised you to give you a tour around here. Let's do it on the weekend then."

"Why... what about us."

"Shut it bozo, this is our little family time. You're not allowed there."

"But I can be also your family too, that is of course, if you let me, my lady." Seeing his elegant demeanour, Daerys felt her stomach churning, bile threatening to come out.

"Eww... Fuck off!"

"Oh, com--" Arthur felt a cold feeling behind his back like someone was about to rip him apart. Sensing this he stopped himself in the track. He knew continuing to flirt with Daerys will only lead to his... death.

Neril was sweating seeing Daemon's cold glare aimed at Arthur.

'Fuck! He is a sis-con too.'

Silence permeated throughout the table. The only sound came from Daerys humming a song and sipping her drink.

"Um... I need to prepare for the test. I'm going to train. Sonny, let's go. You too, Arthur." He stood from his seat.

"Uh... why me though. Can't you train with, Sonny. Besides I've important things to do." He winced at Daerys for which she felt like her bile is once again threatening to come out.

Arthur felt the cold and deathly feelings again. Neril also sensed it, so without further ado he dragged Arthur out of the Cafe with Arthur wailing like a child.

After the trio left, the brother-sister duo happily continued their chat.

After saying goodbye, Daemon left for his dorm room. He didn't eat with her like last night. He decided to dine with his friends since he had promised Arthur.

"Have you got the materials needed for the test?" Neril inquired.

"Yes I've. We can review it after we ate dinner."

"Oh... Dinner. it's on you, right?" Arthur jumped in the conversation when he heard about food.

"Yeah." Daemon wasn't a selfish guy who doesn't spent money on little things like this, in fact, he was adamant in spending money on everything since he wanted to enjoy his years in the academy without anything lacking.

Though he would spend large amount of money that doesn't mean he would just lavishly waste it all. He had some idea on how to make money and he decided to do it after getting a foot on the academy.

"Let's train for now." He again wielded his dual training sword. They were in the training hall.

"Ah... how could I forgot something like that." Arthur exuberantly held his hands on his forehead like he forgot something very important.

"What?" asked Sonny.

Arthur went to Daemon, face dangerously close to Daemon's.

"What? why are you acting weird again?"

'Weird! you're calling him weird, you're the biggest weirdo.' Neril thought to himself.

"Why!? Why did the princess give you, her number?" He roared.

"Ho... how did you know?"

"What do you mean how do I know? The news is spreading like a wild fire in the whole academy."

"Wait! it is--"

*ding*

At the same time, he received a message from his little sister.

[Oii… brother, what are they talking about princess giving you, her number. Is it true?]

[Helloo... You there. Is it true, brother?]

[Brother...]

[Helloo...]

*Ting* He turned off his phone.

"Shit!"
