He was quite proficient in them and he loved his swords too. there wasn't specific art he practised since that age was simply too young to understand something like weapon arts. But since he is now getting his shit together again, Amon gifted him a sword art. It was a simple sword art called 'dual wielding.' The art increases his proficiency when wielding dual weapons. It was a basic art used by almost all of the dual wielders. Since there aren't many dual wielders in the kingdom, it was very hard to find a good graded art, specifically for swords. There were many dual arts regarding daggers but they are quite incompatible with sword users.

Daemon was quite content with sword art. It's at least better than nothing.

The last seven days was taken by ser Arminel. He taught him in mana wielding and mana coating. What mana wielding does is that it helps to coat your weapon in mana, thus making it more powerful just like wielding it. The mana coating allows the user to coat themselves in mana thus increasing the perception, reaction speed and better defence.

By far, ser Arminel's training was the most hellish one. It was to be expected as the man only has trained knights and not some lordlings. Also, his method was the most easiest to understand too, might be because of his experience. Regardless Daemon learned more during ser Arminel's training than the other twos.

During the training period he also has broken to rank F from rank G. The ranks are based on the mana capacity and the purity of the mana inside one's mana core. It also shows the power level of the individual. Most of the students, since starting earlier allows them to break through to rank F in primary school. If the student is likely to have talent they might already be on F+ rank and students which are considered geniuses and prodigies already must have broken through E- and be on the upper side of the rank. Students like Draciyan, Aurelia, Aegor, the princess and the other kids from the great families all have broken through rank E. Not only they are talented they also did had resources needed for the breakthrough after all they are the next generation of the great families.

He still had two days before the entrance ceremony and was still in need for a good sword. The swords he used before was too low quality for him. The highest on the list was a rank A sword called 'Night shade.' He liked its name but since his rank is too low to wield something like that he filtered again, this time sword ranked between rank F and D. There were five swords. Out of that he chose something called 'Dark alley.'

'Who in their right mind would name a sword something like this.' He mused himself.

The Dark alley was a twin short sword and not a katana. There wasn't a katana with low level, he was glad he at least got something. He could have commissioned for a custom made sword on the blacksmith shop but it will take time to make and not to mention his level was too low for forging a sword for himself.

The Dark alley was priced at a whooping 30,000 Laenos. But since his father was the one to pay it, he was happy about. After all who else was parents earning for, obviously their children. So, he didn't have any remorse on spending money. Not just swords he also bought essential magic potions. Since it wasn't his money, he lavishly spent it on things he finds useful.

When his shopping was complete, he had spent a total of 400k Laenos. This much amount of money wasn't anything for the duchy, he was free to buy anything so he didn't feel any remorse spending it. Not to mention it was essential for his academy life. After all, once the academy starts the students are required to join the academy boardings rather than their own house.
