Coffee Predicament

"Laeden super mall,' Every single time I see that name, I'm reminded of the idiotic naming sense of whoever named these things.' Dracyian Dragonborn took in the super mall. The mall was said to be among the top malls in the entire Astrode kingdom.

"Well, at least the products are good." Aurelia walked beside him not too far nor too close.

"Good products? Seriously? Aurelia, your duchy really is a slum. The products here are shit compared to the ones on other malls. We could've just go out visit the outside if only someone wasn't etching to try the new 'Dragon nut coffee." Lycus bickered while looking at Marielle.

"They say the 'Dragon nut coffee' is the tastiest coffee ever to be made." Marielle excitedly walked among the group. She was the one who dragged everyone to the mall for tasting the new coffee from the elven tree.

"Aren't you excited to taste the coffee, Estella." she glanced at the ever calm princess.

"Not particularly, but yeah, the name is intriguing."

"They say there is only one dragon tree in the entire elven kingdom and supply for the coffee nut is very low; if we aren't fast enough the coffee might run out." Aegor chimed in whilst walking behind the princes.

"All the more reason to speed up, c'mon lazy heads. let's walk fast." With that Marielle again dragged them, but with speed this time.

"What! What do you mean by it's over?" Marielle slammed on the reception table while looking at the waitress.

"It's as I said, the coffee nut has run out of stock." The waitress still happy voice rang through the almost empty coffee shop.

"N-no it can't be..." Marielle couldn't process what was happening. She waited to taste this coffee for a long time. As a coffee lover, she already had heard about the upcoming new limited coffee nuts. The name was 'lame,' but the reviews from the elven kingdom blew her away. So, she waited eagerly for the nut to be released in the human kingdom, but the academy started before that. She was sad about it, but her older brother Marakin indicated about the coffee shop at the super mall inside the academy might have it and sure enough she saw the advertisement for the new flavoured coffee in the official website of the academy. She was instantly elevated and waited for many days for the weekend to arrive so she could savour the coffee to her hearts content. But now her dream of savouring the coffee was shattered. Forget savouring, she wasn't even able to smell the sweet aroma of the coffee nut itself.

"I'll give you cash or anything you need, just ask. All I need is one cup of coffee brewed from the mighty dragon nut itself." She frantically began to offer things to the waitress.

"Even if you offer this entire kingdom, good lady, I'm afraid I can't create something that doesn't exist here." The waitress shook her head in helplessness.

"Wh-why god! why me?" Her strength threatening to leave her, Aurelia caught her by her hand.

"Stay strong sister. The coffee might restock tomorrow. We can come back at early morning."

"I'm afraid that is not possible, madam."

"What? Why?"

"All of the coffee nuts has run out of stock and since the dragon nut is exclusive to the elves and there is only one tree in the kingdom, restocking would've to wait till next week."

"Isn't the coffee released this week? How come they all ran out so soon? Not to mention, the price is high and I don't think just anyone can buy it."

"Throughout the week, various students and professors alike have bought the coffee, madam and the stock went empty when that good sir and good madam bought the remaining coffees."

"Bought the... remaining coffees," a hint of hope glittered through her eyes "How many coffees did they buy?" She asked standing straight now.

"About 10, madam."

"They took 10 coffees. that means 500,000 Leons. who bought that much coffee?"

"I'm afraid I don't know their name and even if I know them, I can't possibly disclose personal information about our customers. That is the company policy, madam," She looked straight at Marielle "Oh... and it was not 10 coffees, they drank extra two while sitting here."

"What! 600,000 leons was spent on coffee. Who was it? Tell me I'll give you anything?" She again began to offer many things but the stubborn and righteous waitress didn't even budge a little. When no fruit was harvesting from the waitress Marielle along with the others exited the coffee shop and began to stroll through the mall.

"Whoever bought that coffee might not be any nobody. I mean, buying coffee for 600,000 leaons? who wou--" Her voice trailed off as she gazed across the escalator. Where she saw a familiar boy and a girl. The boy was casually sipping something from a disposable coffee cup. The cup had the logo of the same coffee shop they visited.

When Marielle's bickering suddenly stopped mid-sentence, everyone in the group gazed at her. She was looking blankly at someplace, like almost possessed.

When they traced her line of sight, they too were... surprised.

"Ah... How could I have forgot about the biggest coffee addict in the entire Astrode kingdom?" Aurelia said out loud.

"What are you going to do, sister?" Dracyian had a smile on his face.

"Why do you have that smug smile on your face, bro?" Marielle glanced at Dracyian, who had a smug smile like he was about to watch the biggest comedy show.

"Oh, this is going to be fun." Lycus smacked his lips and rubbed his palms together.

"Are you going to approach him?" Estella glanced at Marielle.

"No matter, I want to taste that coffee."

"You're going to ask him? If you want, I could get it for you from him?" Aurelia said to Marielle.

"No, I don't think he will give it you?

"Let me at least try?"

"Well, if that's what you want then... give it a try?"

With absolute resolute for acquiring the coffee from Daemon she walked towards him.
