Rod no longer

Ayato walked into the cave, 'The hell is this guy?'.

He looked up to see Rod and Eren lying at the edge of the crystal, "Eren".

"Who are you?" Rod asked, he let go of Krista and moved forward.

Eren was tied down on the ground, his eyes filled with hope when he spotted Ayato.

He tried to speak but his mouth had been tied with a rag.

"I need my friends back if you don't mind" Ayato uttered, picking up the knife he found on the ground.

*Kill him, he's a coward kill him*

The voice echoed in Ayato's head, he fell to a knee before giving out a sinister laugh.

"It's you!" Rod yelled, "You were there that night, you and Grisha!".

Rod turned to Krista, "They were the ones that killed the founding Titan, your sister! You must avenge their deaths" He yelled.

Krista was frozen on the ground as she didn't know what to do at that moment.

'He knows me, maybe I can get some information out of him,' Ayato thought to himself.

He started walking slowly towards Rod, climbing the crystal stairs to get to him, "I didn't think you'd remember me" Ayato uttered.

"Stay back!" Rod yelled, he brought out the injection that was with him and turned to Krista, "You have to eat Eren, and save your family, Historia!".

"No, wait!" Ayato yelled, Ayato started running towards them, 'is that a titan fluid?'.

Ayato was about to reach where Rod was, and that was when Levi and Keeny crashed on the stairs.

"Levi!" Ayato exclaimed.

"Move back" Levi uttered, picking his blade from the ground before taking a few steps back, his face was covered in blood and his clothes were torn.

"Levi, you sure are getting me all worked up" Kenny uttered, slowly standing to his feet before picking up his guns.

"Kenny! Do your job and protect me from this man" Rod yelled.

"Alright already, just make sure my titan is ready"

"I know, just-" Rod paused when Ayato suddenly appeared in front of him.

Ayato held Rod's hands, "Let's see what you got" And the flashes began pulling in.

*Flashback*

"Please you have to understand, these titans are going to destroy everything, my family included, you have to help us, I beg of you" Grisha begged.

The inheritor of the founding titan Dina Fritz was standing in front of him with her siblings standing at her back.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you, if whatever you say wants to happen, then I have no say to stop it" Dina uttered.

"So you would let them die, you people" Grisha yelled.

"I told you it wasn't worth it" Ayato came in, pulling up his sleeves while holding a nail in his hands.

"Ayato," Grisha called out.

"Don't worry, I'll do this myself" Ayato stabbed his arms with the nail and immediately turned into the Fulger titan.

"You want to resort to violence?" Dina signed, closing her eyes in pity.

"Kill him, don't let him win sister" The voices of her brethren echoed throughout the cave.

Dina bit her hands and turned into the founding Titan, before she could take a step Ayato had already zoomed to her front.

He stabbed her with his hands before pulling her out from the other end.

"How is he that fast?" Grisha thought to himself.

Dina was shocked as Ayato slowly pulled her out from the hole in the founding Titan's chest.

She wanted to bite herself again but Ayato used his titan's finger to slam her head which made her go unconscious.

He turned to Grisha and stomped out in his titan form, ignoring the cries of the children.

Rod watched from the side of the crystals where no one could see him, he held his mouth as he watched Grisha murder all the children with his bare hands one by one.

Ayato quickly pulled his hands away, "He killed them!" Ayato whispered, trying to recall what happened after that.

Rod pushed Ayato down from the crystal before grabbing the injection and getting ready to give Krista.

Krista was desperately trying to come to a conclusion, she knew that she was royalty from the very beginning, but she never wanted that lifestyle.

But from what Rod told her, Grisha Yeager was the reason she became an orphan, and he also told her that Grisha killed her mother in the process.

"Embrace your destiny and eat Eren Yeager, his father killed your mother, don't forget!" Rod yelled.

"His father did, no Eren, why should he have to suffer for what his father did" She pushed the injection away and it went flying to the ground and pouring.

Rod crawled to the spilled spinal fluid, "No no no, no!" He wanted to start licking but Annie showed up, placing her legs on it.

"Good evening, your highness," Annie said.

"What have you done? No" Rod cried out.

Ayato was still lying on the floor groaning from the pain he was feeling, "How did I even survive that?".

He slowly stood to his feet to see the Garrison regiment entering the cave, they detained Kenney and the King, and some other MPs too.

The were ready to prove to people about where the real king had been hiding, thier plan was to dethroned the current fake king and place Krista on the thrown, but Ayato told them to wait still the whole battle was over.

Levi was on the ground feeling extremely tired but yet one would tell that there was something on his mind.

Mikasa landed beside Ayato, watching a relief made its way to Ayato's face.

They all packed up and released Eren, they left the cave and went out of the church.

"It's dark already," Ayato said.

"Seems the fight took longer than we expected," Ava said, she walked up to the two horses that the no had used before.

"That's even better, let's make our way to Wall Rose first, and then shiganshina"

"Tonight? But… it's tonight" Jean yelled.

"You have Odm with you don't you? We can refill at the headquarters in Trost,, let move" Levi yelled.
