Chapter 28 Playing too hard

Naruto got the gist of the situation that Hinata was in. 

Hinata should be someone very important to the Hyuuga clan. However, because she didn't act like those stuck up members.

She was criticized by those of the lower branch in her clan.

"You are really living a rough life. Hinata-chan."

Hinata was confused as to what he meant by that but the cinnamon rolls in the bag she was holding stopped her from thinking more about it.

She really wanted to eat them but she couldn't find a place to sit down and eat them.

Naruto saw her expression and could tell that she didn't know where they could sit and eat together.

"Follow me, I know a place you might like. But you absolutely can't tell anyone about it, okay."

Hinata nodded. She was happy that Naruto was kind enough to share a secret place with her.

Hinata stopped walking for a moment before she shyly asked.

"Um, Uzumaki-sama, A–Are we friends?"

Naruto looked at her and then he understood what she was thinking. 

She was shy and unconfident. She didn't think anyone would want to be her friend.

"Of course we are friends. From now on Hinata-chan is my friend. No one can change that! And please stop calling me Uzumaki-sama or Senju-sama. Just call me Naruto!"

Hinata heard him and she nodded her head quickly. She was very cute right now.

"T–Thank you for being friends with me, N–Naruto-kun."

Hinata was still very shy but she could speak with him without a stuttering mess like the first time.

Naruto smiled at her and said it was alright. He then held her hand and then led Hinata to his secret hiding place. 

It was on the Hokage mountain. This place was the place he would often come to hide and think about things.

"Welcome to my secret hiding place, Hinata-chan. How is it? Is it good?"

Hinata felt the cold and fresh air hit her face and it made her worry go away for a second.

This place made her feel like she could be herself and not someone else.

To think that this kind of place existed in the village. It must be very precious.

"I–I like it here very much, Naruto-kun. But is it okay for me to be here?"

Hinata still wasn't sure about it.

"It's okay, I will share this place with you. You can come here anytime you want. Oh, and I had made a simple bench there. We can sit there and watch the whole village while we eat cinnamon rolls."

Naruto and Hinata then spend time with each other. They were playing with each other until the sun went down.

"Oh, no. It's already this late. Otou-sama is going to be very angry."

Hinata was afraid of her own father. He always harshly punished her for every simple mistake.

And now she broke the big one. She didn't know what he would do to her.

Naruto saw that and he felt very guilty. He also didn't notice the time and played with her for too long.

"W-what should I do, Naruto-kun. I'm scared of Otou-sama."

Hinata had opened up to him and would listen to what he suggested. 

"I have an idea. From what I heard about your clan from you. They are likely to try to punish you for breaking the rule. However, if you were to try to become friends with someone from another clan. They might not do anything bad to you."

Especially someone from both Uzumaki and Senju.

"I–I will do as Naruto-kun suggests. Please come with me, Naruto-kun."

"Alright, I will be with you. Oh, but I think I have a better idea. Why don't I bring my shishou with us as well."

"Naruto-kun's shishou?"

Naruto brought Hinata to Senju Clan first. He then ran toward Tsunade's office.

"Shishou, Please come with me to visit the Hyuuga clan!"

Tsunade was very busy dealing with the councilors. However, when she saw that Naruto had brought a girl home. She stopped.

She knew immediately that the young girl was from the Hyuuga clan.

"Naruto-chan, you are too young for that, you know it, right?"

"What are you talking about Shishou? Please come with us so Hinata-chan won't be scolded by her father. It was my fault for playing with her for too long."

Naruto explained the situation and Tsunade nodded. She didn't know much about Hyuuga but she didn't like them.

"Ah, I think I remember that the Hyuuga clan is behind those b*stard councilors. I should use this chance to pay them a visit a little."

Tsunade brought something out of the drawer. It was some kind of document that she got from dealing with some of the councilors.

She hadn't punish them but ask them to repay her with something else instead.

Now she had her hand in many businesses. Many of them were owned by both Uchiha and Hyuuga.

Primal Chaos, Xiao Clan.

It had already been five years since Naruto had left the Primal Chaos.

Xiao Ying and Xiao Yue lived their lives like normally. 

Xiao Yue still missed her Na'er very much. As she considered him to be her first child.

But when she thought about him being accepted as a disciple of someone very powerful.

She couldn't help but be happy for him. His life would be much better than when she first met him.

Xiao Yue still didn't know what actually happened to Naruto but Xiao Ying knew about it and he felt very guilty.

He couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth. She would be very heart broken if she were to hear everything.

'I will ask for forgiveness later when Na'er comes back.'

Xiao Ying looked at the time and she smiled at her husband and said.

"Ying'Ge, Today is that day, Has Na'er letter arrived yet?"

She had been waiting for his letter since she left with his master.

"It's still not arrived yet, Yue'er"

Naruto may have gone back to his original world but Daji would still send his letter to them from time to time.

Xiao Yue was always happy to receive Naruto's letters.

The letter was full of his life story and it was very fun to read them. 

It could help Xiao Yue from depression quite a bit.

"Mama, When will my big brother come back?"

The little kid, about five years old, asked his mother. He was Xiao Che.

Xiao Che was very cute and he has heard many good things about Naruto. He wanted to meet him very much.

"He will return someday, Che'er. Your big brother is very talented. He might be even stronger than your father and mother.

Naruto, in these five years, already broke through to the 1st stage of Earth Profound Realm.

But If it was about his real combat power. He should be able to fight with those who were at the 1st stage of Emperor Profound Realm.

Xiao Ying sighed. He didn't know if Naruto would ever come back or not. He had done what he had promised Daji that day. 

Xia Qingyue would be betrothed to Naruto when he returned.

Xia Hongyue also didn't know what happened to Naruto. He only was informed that he went with a master.

He would return here when the time was right.

Xiao Ying was taking care of his wife and son when he heard a very familiar sound.

"His letter is here."

Daji always sent Naruto directly to their home. Xiao Ying brought the letter to his wife. And they read them together.

Xiao Ying and Xiao Yue when they read the letter become very happy.

"He will return this year! Na'er will come back to us!"

Xiao Yue happily hugged Xiao Ying and Xiao Che. Xiao Ying didn't know what to say. So it was finally the time for him to think of a way to ask for forgiveness.

'Please, Na'er. Help your poor father calm your mother down when you come back.'

Xiao Ying smiled and also felt happy that he could finally see his eldest this year.

Konohagakure, The Hyuuga Clan.

Tsunade had come to pay a visit to the Hyuuga clan with Naruto and Hinata.

The boy and the girl were now holding each other's hands like the childhood sweetheart would do.

The elders of the clan didn't like it but they didn't dare showing their dissatisfaction in front of Tsunade.

To them, she was someone who could annihilate their whole clan.

"I have come to visit because my disciple became friends with your daughter. They have gotten too into playing with each other so it becomes so late like this. Hope you don't mind about it."

Tsunade spoke directly to Hyuuga Hiashi. The current patriarch of the Hyuuga Clan.

Hiashi didn't like the way Tsunade talked to him but he also didn't want to be her enemy.

Something had happened this morning and many of their business got transferred to someone else.

They still had a lot of savings left but it would soon dry up. If they were to have a problem with Tsunade now. They might not be able to recover from their losses.

The elders looked at Naruto in surprise. They never would have thought that such a young kid would be accepted as Tsunade disciple.

That meant he must have great potential for someone like Tsunade to take him in like that.

They then looked at Hinata who was talking with Naruto happily. They thought that the girl was useless. But if she could be friends with him. She might be useful to the clan.
