Ziggy

As I open the box a snake the size of a arm starts hissing quietly barbs sees the snake and tries to get me away from the snake while also yelling.

"WHAT THE HELL DAMIAN" I placed my hand down near the snake slowly making sure the snake doesn't bite me after a couple seconds the snake crawls up my arm and gets close to my face.

"I will name you Ziggy!" I say in a rather happy tone that surprised even me.

I look at Ziggy in their pitch black eyes while I barely hold the weight of my new friend that has slowly started to crawl into my shirt.

I wonder what kind of snake Ziggy is and why they're so friendly.

As I think that I yawn feeling a bit tired, grabbing my stuffed animal while going to a chair then I go to sleep while Ziggy crawls out of my shirt and coils up on my lap.

Damien Pov:

I am currently getting chewed out by Barbara and Tim in a different room about how I can't gift a snake to a 3 year old. when Bruce came back after talking with pennyworth.

Bruce starts talking "Damien why did you give a baby a snake"

I say "It's a corn snake" I say and Bruce starts talking again "I know what kind of snake it is I want to know why you gave the two year old it"(AN:I will put a pack of a corn snake here if you're interested what they look like)

"looked at his background and found out he used to have three snakes entile his foster family killed them" I say with little care of the matter

I hear a sigh "did you at least get everything he will need to take care of it" Bruce says

"your not actually going to let Nico keep the snake are you" Tim says with concern

"as long as Damien has the proper supplies and helps take care of it then I'm fine with it' Bruce says with little emotion like usual

"besides we have more important things to deal with right now let's go" as he says that we start following him to a grandfather clock

(AN: hey sorry for not posting on Friday I was pretty busy with school anyway here's a list of powers that I came up with also shout out to jay_93 for suggesting the first two powers

1: hydrokinesis (the ability to control water with your mind)

2: telekinesis (the ability to control stuff with your mind)

3: coloration (the ability to change the color of anything you can see)

4:sound manipulation (pretty self explained)

5: Video game (you get to bring one item from a game you beat that can only be used by you)

so what do you guys think, personally I think I'm going to use the fifth because it's my favorite and there are many games that have cool items.
