"When will it be delivered?"

"In an hour."

Eros agreed, "And the men?"

"They will be here in a few minutes."

Adrian grins, showing how dedicated and passionate on destroying the Chairman and their company.

It has been a while since Eros is acting as the CEO here because all of these past few months, I have been worn out through and through, pretending and acting to be the leader.

I don't want it but Eros wants it.

He needs it.

Since that night when Ellis was caught the first time, Eros has been absent and not being himself, so as his secretary and best friend, I have to put up a professional and comforting way to somehow ease his pain.

I acted as his sword and shield, protecting him every step of the way. 

"Griffin, I know Eros is good-looking but I am jealous." I heard Eryx's voice whisper to my ear and I immediately got shy and fixed my glasses.
