Unexpected Turns
SCHOOL
"Nyra, are you sure it's okay?" One of her female classmates asked. Her forehead ceased and you could see how sad she was.
Nyra smiled at her. "I told you it's fine. You have a remedial class. I can go by myself." She grabbed her bag and put it around her shoulder.
"I have the lists of the things we need to buy, so it's fine." She waved her hands. "Just be good next time if you don't want to be left behind." Then she giggled, making her classmate whine more.
She was just joking and the thing she was talking about was their school experiment for tomorrow. They decided to go together after class but the other female student got caught in her remedial class so she had no choice.
Even though Nyra was smiling while walking through the hallways, she was thinking deep. If only Claire was here, she would surely have someone who will accompany her after class. The reason why she was so close to Claire was because they were like sisters.
