"Yoshino, right?"

Yoshino nodded shyly in response.

"Then Yoshinon, right?"

The hand puppet didn't make any responses but "Silence" means "yes" in some ways so he accepted Yoshinon's silence as yes.

He looks to Yoshino with a determination to save her.

"I know you wouldn't immediately put your trust in me. You are put into much trouble because of your own existence even though you are just a child. I might not know what exactly you feel right now or what runs into your mind but.. I wanted to save you. Although it's a bit of gambling, can you put your bet on me?"

Shido is currently waiting for her to take his hand.

She unmounted the big rabbit while thinking of something.

"…"

Slowly, he walks to her until he stops in front of her.

The giant bunny didn't do anything about him since Yoshino don't have any motive to harm him.

Yoshino looks up to him and down, wanting to speak but even moving her puppet in front of her face to hide her embarrassment, but she can't do for some reason.

Her other personality, Yoshinon, wanted to retort his words as a lie but deep inside of her, she wanted Yoshino to be saved too so she is confused about whether she will put trust in him or not.

Ever since Yoshino became a spirit, it's been a long time since she talked to anyone.

Usually, if she is not shot immediately, she will be surrounded and attacked.

Shido was the first to approach her to talk and give her the decision to be saved.

Being alone for so long, makes her want to put her trust in him.

Adding his speech and his status as the main character, she felt incredibly warm at every bit of his words, making her decide to gamble.

With a slow approach, she moves her hand to Shido's palm and they hold each other's hands.

Shido kneels down and pats her head.

She felt incredibly warm and comfortable.

She felt that she already know this feeling long ago but she doesn't remember when.

Her mind flashbacks hazy memories that she couldn't remember and understand, however, she can tell the person in her memory is a woman.

Warmth… comfort… being protected… will always be there for you…

A mother's love.

Her memories might be hazy but she knows that this woman is her mother.

And because of Shido's warmth, it triggers her mind to look back at her past but because of an unknown reason, she couldn't remember the face of her mother, even the reason why she became a spirit in the first place.

She is just an ordinary human like others but that is in the past.

Yoshino hug him while thinking about the reason why she became a spirit.

However, she couldn't remember it even though she try hard to remember it.

In the end, she just focuses to enjoy this sensation.

"You won't regret it, I promise."

After their short hug, he immediately tells his solution.
