Honestly, the story has tons of potential, but I feel it was executed poorly. First of all the Mc just has the ability to turn anything into whatever he feels like because apparently he is a genius in transformation jutsu, which makes no sense. Then there is the fact that he this random blacksmith child beat multiple ninjas without training. Then he slaves himself away to konaha because he is an Uchiha, which is possibly the stupidest decision so far. At least danzo can get two free eyes. Also, I know writing is hard, so don't feel bad about my critique. It's just how I feel about the story.

COMME"ridiculously easy to use" No it's not lol. It's easy to transform at best, not to mention it's just an illusion. Even if you would argue that it's not, he can only transform yourself. Kiba clan would've killed themselves if they saw how easy it's to use this jutsu :D
what_if_3574:Two things: first, the transformation jutsu is stuff they tech kids at elementary school, it's ridiculously easy to use. Secondly, Ryu never slaves himself to Konoha. He never does anything even simular... What gave you the impression he did?

what_if_3574:Dude Naruto snapped his fingers and a frog turned into the Nine Tails. This thing is busted
Nope, it's cannon. he transformed Gamabunta, who's 30~ feet tall, into Kurama that can level mountains with his tails. And it wasn't an illusion or anything since he fought against the One Tails physically. Speaking of which, Gamabunta also gained a power up since the One Tail thought he was fighting Kurama by the power he exhibited.
MajorLove_Gravy:that sounds like a filler episode
ohhhh when you said frog I thought you meant a normal frog not one of the sage toads. I never watched the naruto filler so that's why I assumed it was filler

Yeah naruto did do this but keep in mind he is an Uzumaki and son of the forth hokage, plus a demi-god reincarnation (one of the 6 paths sons) and he also went to arguably the best ninja school in the whole verse plus he is a natural prodigy. You can't really use his feats as a baseline, plus again this toad transformation was after being trained by the toad sage a literal legendary ninja. The Mc has nowhere near as much trying for the feats he's pulling off.

and mc is Uchiha and trained his chakra control to near perfection and is not allowed to do in scope smaller genetic/ biological transformations?

That was not done by Naruto by himself. Gamabunta called it as a collaborative jutsu, which means both of them worked together to achieve that. After reading the chapter in the manga I am more inclined to believe that Naruto was only responsible for the imagination part and the more complicated parts related to chakra were all handled by Gamabunta himself. It should be the same case with Kiba and Akamaru. Also both cases worked on living beings only because they are required to manipulate their own chakra. It would not, and has never been shown to, work on non living things.

Naruto's clothes and weapons are non living things, yet they transform. Also Naruto, as a part Kitsune and a jinchuriki of a Kitsune, should be much better at transformation than any toad.

he didn't get a power up, Gamabunta only need to transform to someone with hands to hold Shukaku so they could wake Gaara up. Gamabunta's skill set is still the same.
