Youre right about that but, dont forget that Qidian owns the rights to Legendary Mechanic. Qidian/Webnovel/any Chinese novel company are bloodsucking vampires. Go look at what the Qidian contract looks like online. The author relinqueshes all rights and can be replaced by a ghost writer at any time for whatever reason. They also get paid a slave wage.
