This is a dull story. The MC hasn't done anything significant. Too many useless OC characters. That's why i hate OC characters, it makes the story dull.

Try not to focus too much on OC. Better focus on characters of the original story. Interaction with characters from original story is always better than OC. Readers are more interested in them rather than OC. If you still want to add OC, then just make then simple subordinate (don't make them the focus of the story)
