38 chapters read. The writing quality is high. The way of narrating is simple but it keeps the interest in the novel. In 38 chapters I have noticed one mistake... changing the name of a character once (from Lucas to Leo). I hope it was just a lapse. The stability of the updates seems to be correct. The development of the story seems to focus on football only, with certain family and 'loving' touches. The way the story is developing, football fans may like it. But, I see it as very simple. The character design does not seem to be excessively worked on. Which was to be expected, seeing what the story is focusing on at the moment. The MC seems very dependent on the system. If I had to describe the World Background I would say that it is a small fantasy in the real world that we know. We will see how strong the MC system is, and if both worlds will remain balanced. I think a rating of 3.8 is correct for now. As I said, this novel may appeal to football fans. Therefore, I think it should be recommended. PS: the daily mission (Solo Leveling style) seems to have been forgotten.
Review after 163 chapters. I think the quality of writing is very good. The author takes care of the details, which is something to be appreciated. Nothing to say about the updates. The world background is acceptable, although I find it generic. The story development is horrible. The novel is very poorly planned. In the first 83 chapters there are two time jumps, the first of ten years and the second of eight years. These time jumps should not have been so abrupt, because events in those years that are interesting have been lost. Although the author has commented that he will do a flashback arc of the eight-year jump, said arc will only be empty chapters because all the interest has already disappeared. I don't understand why such a rush, because it diminishes the quality of a novel. Instead of jumping several years, he jumps weeks or months. Now, in 83 chapters you have an MC who is too powerful, even his time at the academy is useless. The MC system also seems too powerful. In 163 chapters, the MC hasn't had any difficult challenges. He always solves everything too easily. Attention! If the goal is for the novel to only have 300-500 chapters then I think it's justified to empower the MC so quickly. The character design is also horrible. All characters lack personality. Emotions are not transmitted to the reader through actions or conversations. Final words. I'm glad to read a novel with an elf as the protagonist, I really wanted to read a novel like that. Unfortunately this novel has aspects that have been neglected. To the author. I hope this review can help you improve as a writer. Each person has their own preferences and opinions, and it's impossible to write a novel that everyone likes. Not to mention, it seems like this is your first novel. I'm leaving you with power stones.
If the author does well, I'm happy for him. I wish him many fans, and a lot of money. But as you can understand, I have the right to express myself and give my opinion based on what I have read of this novel, which has more than 1000 chapters.
- The writing quality started out very poor. The reader's point of view changes several times at the beginning until it finally becomes a third person. There are many errors in the novel related to names. The way of writing is tiring. There comes a point where in the vast majority of chapters we have several paragraphs talking about how abnormal Victor is or how he spoils his wives and daughters. - 49 wives, more daughters, more love interests. A novel with such a large harem (because the daughters will be wives) is very difficult to handle, and as expected, the author lost control of the harem. In addition, the personalities of the harem evolve to be a copy-paste of one another, that is, they have lost the unique touch they had. - Victor was a very good MC, but as he gained power he became a character without values or respect for his friends or family. - The evolution of the relationship between Anna, Leon and Victor was disgusting. Leon, a good father and husband, was betrayed by his son and his wife. He did not deserve that betrayal, no matter how many excuses they try to make, or how many lovers they invent (it's not like Anna is going to be Victor's only wife). - Finally, the plot ends up becoming a loop, so it becomes boring. - The humor, most of the time, is very good. At no time did I expect that the novel that I liked so much at the beginning would end up giving it such a low rating.
962 chapters read. This novel is very entertaining. There are some errors in the plot, but nothing serious that prevents you from enjoying this novel. The MC is an intelligent guy, and at times too confident. We could define this character as a psychopath and pervert. The character does not feel love for any woman, the MC only cares about himself. I don't like this character at all, but I love the way he finishes off his enemies, and how he manipulates other characters. The Harem is huge and varied, I couldn't estimate the total number of women. Only a few women in the harem are useful, the rest only serve to satisfy the MC's lust. Many women are 'forgotten', reappearing some time later. Others don't even appear (because they are on the farm, or with the ogres), others appear only to calm the MC's lust. I think the management of the harem is bad. There are two more things I don't like about this novel. The first is that he has +500 skills, of which we only know about 60-80 of them. The second is the speed at which he gets rich and creates super potions at the beginning, the time-power scale. In short, an entertaining novel. Full of cruelty, manipulation, and lust. I would like to give it 5 stars but, as I said before, there are parts that are not developed. I will continue reading the novel.
There are currently 35 free chapters, all read. My review: The plot is boring. There are parts that are irrelevant, that could be summarized and even omitted. I found the characters passive and emotionless. With the 35 chapters read, this novel did not seem attractive enough to pay for.
252 chapters read, and here is my review so far. This novel is similar to PLIC (Pure Love x Insult Complex). I can't help but compare them... There are aspects where PLIC is better, and other aspects where SS is better. In the most important aspect, which is hooking the reader, this novel fails. PLIC, on the other hand, hooks the reader. The 252 chapters read have been boring: just romance and sex. No action, very dense male characters, and female characters that I can't understand. I will leave this novel on hold for now, and plan to continue it another time. If I see that the novel becomes more interesting, I will change the review.
I have finished reading all 30 free chapters. This novel has as FMC a vampire who becomes obsessed with the secretary she has hired (MC). I don't really see any rational explanation for her obsession. The FMC will do anything to alienate other women (who suddenly start to feel attracted to the MC), and characters who want to harm the MC. The MC is a human character, weak, and submissive. Suddenly, without explanation, his attitude towards the FMC changes drastically. So far, he seems unaware that the FMC is a vampire although he has had clues. This novel seems similar to '50 Shades of Grey', with the roles reversed, and the supernatural touch of the vampires. The pacing of the novel is bad. The MC's personality seems empty to me, and at times, irrational. These 30 free chapters have been very exhausting to read.
Review after 644 chapters read 1. Story (3/10): The story is very repetitive and predictable. There are events that are incoherent, and other events that are put together in a very bad way. I give it 3 points because it has some good moments. 2. Romance: There are quite a few female characters who are in love, some even obsessed, with the MC. If you're looking for romance, this is not your novel (for now). 3. MC (4/10): We have an incoherent, and stupid, MC. The power of the author gets him out of trouble. At first his abilities are thanks to the system, but eventually the MC begins to work on his abilities on his own. 4. Secondary Characters (4/10): Most of the characters are presented in an interesting way, but the vast majority end up becoming the MC's asslickers. 5. Villains (4/10): The main villain duo is of low quality. They have been defeated so many times that it seems like a joke. The secondary villains have done a better role than the main villain duo. 6. World building (6/10): Removing some inconsistencies, the world building is the best thing about the novel. And it's not spectacular. 7. System (3/10): Predicts the future, erases the memory and changes the life of the MC's sister when he dies, gets the MC into trouble, etc... Note (not counting the romance): 24/60 A novel with a different theme, which looked very interesting. Unfortunately we have a novel that is repetitive, predictable, and full of inconsistencies. A system and characters that lower the quality of the novel.
My review after 237 chapters read. I liked how the novel was presented. However, I ended up very disappointed. -The MC's relationships with his women are purely sexual or for filler. He hoped that three of his women could help the protagonist in the fight, but they turn out to be a burden. The management of the harem is very bad, many of the protagonist's women 'disappear' as if they did not exist. Most harem women join after being raped, and sometimes they are also drugged. I am not going to complain about these practices. I complain about the psychology of the female characters after a night of rape, where they instantly become 100% loyal and in love women. - The personality of the protagonist is, at times, incomprehensible. They kidnap one of his women, and the next day she doesn't even remember. He does not care about his women, and mostly does not even help them develop their strength so that they know how to take care of themselves. He leaves potential enemies alive, when he himself thinks that this type of action is a mistake. - Some subplots are boring. There comes a time when some enemies are 'forgotten'. There are several plot holes. In general, I don't see the characters developed.
