The question I had to ask myself was if I wanted to do that or not. It had already been 4 weeks and two days since I arrived in Lilycove City, and that was already a bit above the 4 weeks maximum I had initially planned to stick to Major Cities with Major Gyms, though admittedly it was only by two days which was not much since I still had 69 months left until the tournament.- Desire961hCommenté

The first batch of my birthday guests, if they could be called such, was slated to arrive at 10:30 a.m., so I had to be at the Lilycove Teleportation Hub to welcome them. My parents showed up right on time together with Jessie, Rose, her parents, and Kinji. Mom was the first to spot me and as usual, she gave me a crushing hug while telling me how much she missed me. Lol, I had done such things with me watching Naruto as my first show, I even watched filler... but these days watching anime actually takes effort for me... actually if we don't count the last month... it has been nearly 1.5 years since I have watched a original probably... fanfiction and novels were the new rabbit hole for me
Now, while that may not be as much as some addicts used to binge in my last life, even then it was better to stop the onset before it becomes the norm and gets worse from there. Not that I did not have my episodes as well in the past where I binged hundreds of episodes in just a week or so, but exactly because of that I knew that it was better to prevent this from happening. At least here the matter/power was in my hands since I was the only one who could provide the anime service, so they had no way to secretly binge-watch stuff. - Desire961hCommenté
well, some of them have new episodes as old episodes with better animation quality or smth
We ended up watching another 10 episodes, leaving us with only 9 episodes for season 1, which left us pretty much halfway through the story since there were only 2 seasons in total. As a kid, I always thought the shows I watched had a lot of episodes, but I noticed that most kid shows have way fewer episodes than one would expect, including Lilo&Stitch. - Desire961hCommenté

We played the manipulation game, and the manipulation here was not the psychological kind, but the elemental one. Every participant had to choose a typing/element they could proficiently use and use their manipulation ability to create the same forms/shapes that the game master was presenting. Those that failed to copy the shape requested by the game master lost/got disqualified. Obviously, the shapes started out quite easy with squares and other easy stuff before becoming progressively harder. - Desire961hCommenté

Seeing what her new talent actually was, I could not help but feel happy since Trace was a rather useful ability. Still, in some ways, it made sense for her ability variation to end up with Trace since it was the ability a Mega Alakazam gained after mega-evolving. With Tatsumaki attaining light aurora potential and unlocking an extra ability, there was a bit of a destiny kind of vibe to this variation, especially with her being so bummed out about Inner Focus. It was like fate decided to say, let me do you a favor and give you access to this in advance, and I was quite happy with our luck in this matter. - Desire961hCommenté

That topic was her current favorite subject, namely her recent move project, Hyperspace Hole. She excitedly talked about her most recent progress and any new ideas she had come up with on how to improve her attempts. Eventually, she asked a question that threw me into a momentary loop, because I had completely disregarded the very real possibility of the scenario taking place. Tatsumaki posed a innocent but eager question, she wanted to know if I thought Hoopa might come over to take a look at things if she managed to actually use Hyperspace Hole, considering that it was Hoopa's signature move. - Desire961hCommenté

Anyway, after dinner was over, we cleaned up before I brought out snacks and drinks for our movie night. I also brought out a bunch of beanie bags of various sizes for everyone to comfortably settle on before streaming the first episode of Lilo&Stitch the series into the sky without worrying about Disney and any copyright claims seeing how we were separated by multiple dimensions/universe clusters or whatever. Once everyone had gathered, I told them the news, and they cheered happily. I saw Larvitar join them despite feeling confused about why the others were so excited and had to smile. We discussed over dinner what we should watch, and we settled on watching Lilo&Stitch the series. I had shown them the movie and they wanted to know if there were any more Lilo&Stitch movies, so I told them about the series. It was a fundamental truth that the Stage of a Pokemon was its Hardware, while its moves and energy manipulations were its software. No matter how great the Software was, if it was limited by the Hardware, the Software would only be able to produce limited output. Conversely, if the Software sucked, parts, maybe even big parts of the Hardware's prowess would go to waste. Still, after letting them continue their discussions for around 5 minutes, I decided to lead our conversation back on track, so I teased Mothra a bit by telling her that Larvitar seemed to be a little foodie just like her. However, his status sheet was remarkably unremarkable, even his potential was "only" green. Funnily enough, even as I left, Larvitar ignored me and continued snacking. I still thanked it for its cooperation, but it just waved me off, and I got the distinct feeling it was telling me to go away already. I did come across a few more decisively non-Larvitar Pokemon before I finally stumbled upon the first one. Well, it was actually a group of three Larvitar and they all threw me unfriendly looks until they noticed Mr.Mime. I did not know if I should be flattered that my good looks drew their attention so much that it took them a second look to notice Mr.Mime beside me or bummed out that their first reaction upon seeing me was to give me unfriendly looks. I mean I had my "I'm a nice guy" aura on and all that. - Desire962hCommenté

I naturally had no plans to travel the distance myself, so my next stop ended up being the Teleportation Hub. I had booked a teleportation to Rosewood City because Prof. Serizawa's Research Facility was located on the left/west half of Mt. Palkiday was spent going around the city, visiting the places I found the most interesting, though with me acting as the tour guide that was no surprise. Unfortunately, we couldn't visit the Night Market since it wasn't open on Palkidays, so most of them, like Ace, Aaron, Misty, and Yoruichi, had to leave without being able to see it. My parents, Kinji, Yu, Jessie, Rose, and Weiss, however, stayed for another day/night, which meant the celebration with my Pokemon got pushed back by another day as well. - Desire962hCommenté

She used Extreme Speed to appear beside Scizor, then before the other side could react, Mothra used Psychic to immobilize it and clamp its arms to its body. She then nailed it into the ground, right up until its chest, before using Hypnosis to lull it into sleep. Stephanie directly tried to rouse her Pokemon, but without success, and while she did that, Mothra forced a bunch of Sleep Powder into Scizor's mouth just to be sure.
