A score of 4.2 is wildly wrong. This fic is great, it’s just a very, very, *very* slow burn. However, it has amazing moments, characters, and world building. Every victory the mc makes truly feels earned. A lot of original characters are used to move the story, but it is done in a natural way. Some OG Naruto characters also show up at natural times keeping the story exciting, but also grounded. Very good stuff.

Amazing story so far! The characters all feel pretty real and aren’t braindead like in other fanfics. The humor is pretty good too! The main character is broken, but it hasn’t ruined the story in any way. Keep it up author!

Wow! I’m certain this is the best dragon ball fanfiction ever made. I’ve been a big fan of the dragon ball franchise, but the series feels a bit one-dimensional at times. This story completely redefines the dragon ball story in the best way possible. Epic arcs are more epic, emotions are more real, characters feel more real, and the stakes are raised. The main character’s progression is paced perfectly. Not too fast, but also not annoyingly slow. Finally, the changes made to each arc are great! I love to see the butterfly effects of the changed canon. Great job author!

So far the story is great. It seems that its rating isn’t higher due to the chapter consistency early on, but that seems to be corrected now. The main character, while still somewhat mysterious, is interesting to follow. The abilities of the main character are inspired by Sasuke as well. Keep up the good work, Author!

I feel that most people who reviewed this fic have done so hastily. This novel is definitely a slow-burn type. Because of this, it’s absolutely ridiculous to review it so early. It’d be like everyone reviewing Dragon Ball Z before Goku turns SSJ. With that being said, I feel the story is going in an excellent direction so far. Everything after the genin tournament arc has been great. The mc is steadily growing, not just in strength, but also in character. Additionally, this novel stays away from most Naruto cliches, giving it a fresher foundation. Keep up the good work author!

Fantastic read. The main character is pretty cool, but the AU of this world is very creative. The inclusion of unique lore is great. The pacing is phenomenal, and the author posts frequently. What more could one ask for?
