I'm still continuing the story from the lastest chapter before the re-upload, and I have a considerate amount of new chapters and stockpiled chapters since then actually, but the main problem for me right now is that since I've first started on this novel in early 2022, there are too many plot holes at the beginning of the story, which leaves some people confused on some of the development of the story (and will most likely leave more confusion in the later chapters if it isn't addressed in the beginning) and so I've been holding off on releasing the new chapters (and only been slowly reuploading on my old chapters) until I've fully rewritten/revised the early chapters (mainly the ones from 1-20) to fix some of the plot holes as well as add a bit of other things. Hope this cleared up the confusion

Yeah there might be some misunderstanding here. He’s still fully unaware that the heroines know about his past death (which the good ending Iris was referring to means not letting him die like that again) and that’s where his confusion comes in. He also still doesn’t want the heroines to change the original plot still as he’s determined to get back to earth, but the second protagonist (Ling Feng) wasn’t originally in the original plot so he wants to use the heroines to kill the Ling Feng so that Ling Feng doesn’t ruin any of the original plots. Hope this cleared up any confusions!
