Amazing book, probably the best book on this site. The main character isn't an brainless idiot nor someone who just follow unlike many other books here. Some of the main villains in this story are truly evil and make you hate them. The background and world building is top notch as well.

If you recall to the time Lith used gravity magic during a noble gathering there was a female archmage but that's the only one I can remember off the top of my head. All the most powerful characters currently women, to the Empress, Scarlet, Thrud and two of the three gradians on the continent.

All the way back in chapter 22 it is said that women have a higher apt towards magic, think that's what he is referring to.
