Hi dear reader, I just saw your comment, and I was wondering what was so wrong with him being gay? Even if you do find it morally objectable, perhaps him being gay doesn't negate the good he's done throughout the story. The purpose of this story was to look at the lives of people who come from all different walks of life, just making the best of the situations they're in. It's also the reason I revealed Freddie being gay at the last chapter, because while he may be gay, he is not solely defined by who he choses to love. Regardless, I appreciate your support.
First off, love the premise, and for a second I was worried that the author may not be able to pull off such an amusing concept. That is, until I started reading. It handles the subject matter beautifully with a sprinkling of humor, almost bordering on charmingly absurd. Keep writing author!! Can't wait to read more!!
Ah, doesn't everybody?
I hope so too😤
To the lots of you asking why the story is so short, it's because your poor author couldn't add more tragedy or misfortune to the lives of her two innocent characters. So, from now on, imagine for Dante and Naya a life so peaceful and bliss, it's too boring a story to tell.
Just for clarification, the story is set in the US, but I decided to not be specific because these kinds of themes are present throughout the country. This story was my reaction to the current political issues in the country, in which people live their lives, fall in love, and are affected by certain micro (and not so micro) aggressions.
Good catch! I've fixed it, but yes, the character's name is Freddie and Frankie. Thank you for pointing it out!
