Willpower is shaped through experiences and conviction, and yeah he doesn't wanna die but if that was all you needed then everyone would have conquerors haki. Mc is way too green and inexperienced for a scene like this to make sense just yet.

Keeping with the whole Egyptian theme, what if Anibis asks him to deal with the Nogitsune. 1) It's a spirit who's creation involves death (his domain) 2) It was powerful (crafty) enough to warrent a season and to be the big bad of the movie 3) Seeing him as beyond something the average supernatural could handle, he enlists the mc (a pseudo god) to beat him on the condition that he brings him back to life. The downside is he loses his godhood but retains his Alpha spark. Only thing I haven't worked out yet is why Anubis (an Egyptian god) would be the one to take action and not a Japanese god but I figured if you liked the idea you'd find a way

Happy to hear that abt the new fic. Teen Wolf is one of my favorite series to read about so I'm looking forward to it. And that would've been interesting to see between him and Cora. Even more would've liked to see Erica's reaction to that 😂 While I do have small issues with the ending, I agree that it was a good place to end. His revenge story really did feel complete. On a side note though, your fic kinda lingered about in my head for a bit and I actually thought of a plausible reason that would've kept him around.
