Thanks for the feedback, and yeah the magic element is never brought up again till like chapter 12+ kinda. I could edit this and the flow of the story wouldn't change. I say give my novel a shot beyond this chapter. I'd treat it like a filler till I post my question on my next recent fic. Can always treat this like an old rival company instead of wizards.

That's fair there was no foteshadowing of any sorts. Well to be honest not much has been expanded on since the early chapters. I'll put out a poll to see what others think. I can always write them out or make their impact minimal.

It's coming in due time. Around chapter 24 we'll dive into the corpo setting. Victor is a corpo, he's not an edge runner or solo by any means. Infact David is a corpo executioner if you think about it. If you stick around I'll drfs go into it.
