This was such a fresh breath of air after all the nonsensical rosey love stories. A young lady sold by her father? Unlike what happens in novels usually she of course resents her father for it. Unlike what happens in novels usually she tries to get away. This fl is sensible, realistic and intelligent. All in all an immersive, entertaining read. 5/5
I was skeptical at first because of the novel's title. I thought ''Not another of those system novels'' but since my friend recommended it I needed to give it a chance. What a ride it has been! Hilarious through and through. A very well done system novel but seriously the comedic parts overshadow it. If you are looking for a well done system novel this is it. If you are looking for a laugh this is definitely it.
A reincarnation and system story with a twist! Our mc reincarnates as a demon and shows us how everyone actually just tries to survive. Demons? Angels? Humans? Don't we all just try to survive? Our mc shoulders all the prejudices against demons(even from himself) while he only tries to live his life. A fun adventure that reminds you not to judge a book by its cover.
This collection of short stories are aptly named Mindstorm. It is basically the author tackling random ideas of his/her one by one. The proposition is the story while the mc is the rational part of the author that tackles it. Or it I might be thinking too much and they are all just random short stories. I had fun either way so nothing to complain about lol.
I was skeptical when I saw the LGBT+ tag but unlike most other LGBT+ novels this one has a decent plot and good characters that can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of sexual orientation. It was an enjoyable read for me(hetero male) so far and I assume it will be an even better read for people who dig LGBT+ novels.
A unique story about a young lady who has been to lots of abusive foster families and finally will find some warmth (I hope. The author can't be that cruel right?). There are some occasional grammar mistakes but honestly the novel is so immersive you hardly notice any of them. Heck I could hardly notice I have been reading it for more than an hour already...
