Another rating because I believe this novel needs more support and views! I’m currently up to date with the chapters (ch37) and we finally get to see different views of Rey without a Leon in his life. It’s so sad for both of them 😭 but Rey is still pretty OP!!! I love that he’s not a typical hero after the OG storyline. Spoiler-ish: He’s cold, obsessive, possessive, short tempered except for Leon, and almost anti social. It’s not in a bad way though! It’s still pretty righteous and protective considering Leon’s condition.

I think Leon would still rather have died since he’s “normal” and not the “oh I became someone else in a new world and forced to follow a script. Let’s try to live this life!” Kind of person. (Reason why he’s a vegetable right now). The system gave him a false goal to cover up its mistakes. It’d be more messed up if the system was like, “you died, I lost the previous soul, take his spot and live in this world as this character.” What “normal” person would accept that fate?
