~My Destiny~

A cute, young, boy—Alien—Sets out to find his father before he would bring his mother back to his home planet(Rioko). He needed to leave the planet he was on “Astrian” and go to Rioko where his father was. Or where he hoped his father was. But first, he had to travel through miles of unknown territory and thousands of hours with only his ability to find his own food and water. He had trained, but had he trained enough to survive through this? With help of course. !*!Do Not Read if you don’t do well with gore. !*!Do Not Read if you don’t do well with horror. !*!And, please, the post date will start to be on Fridays. ~Sneak Peak~ My name is Quest Willion, I’m Fifteen, and I live on a whole another planet. My name is Quest Willion, I'm Fifteen, and I live on a whole another planet. The tree's are green like Earth, the grass is green, the sky... well, that is multiple different stories. We have animals. Not like human's do. The only way I even know what a human is, is because we get these drop load shipping's when the Seekers and Questers come back from there. The Astrian's from my planet travels through space to yours. Neat right? They come back with books and Earth-man-made items. I like the photo's in some of the books we get. They're pretty astronomical. But, how I am talking to you right now, that's not actually how I speak. I have a whole another language. I was just instructed to tell you my story; and I will do that! But for now, I need you to understand this!

One; I am what you would call an Alien. No, I'm not green with multiple eyes. I do, in fact, have a lighter skin tone then you. It is around the color bluish white. I call it baby cream. Mine and my mother's skin color doesn't fit in on this planet. Some of the people on this planet don't even have a skin tone. They can be white, blue, dark blue, even some are light purple. They also have some wildly colored hair. I have a thin white tail that would go from my tailbone to my head if I wanted it to. I keep it wrapped around my chest.

Two; My story will be told in a few positions. My personal view, a few others ( ;) )and, well, third person! So, try not to get confused.

Three; Their animal's have different names and our names can sometimes be a little... weird. But, I'm Quest, you already know that. I'm 5'7, fifteen years old, I'm a Quester. (I'll explain that in a minute!), I like the earth animal's called "Wolves" and "Red Panda's", my hair color is white with some shiny grey strands in the mix. I also have horns! They aren't that big, but when I'm older they should get bigger in time; they wrap around the back of my ear from the very front, and by the time I'm my "fathers" age, they should wrap all the way around. Right now; it's only barely there.. My other set of horns go from the back of my head (where a woman would wear a high ponytail) to the front in an uplifting motion. Kinda like an earthly bull, just mine are pretty skinny horns... Did I mention I have a little sister who looks like the complete opposite of me? My eyes are a a mix of white, silver, and a diluted violet, and I have two parents..

That's considered lucky where I'm from.

Four; we have different roles. Seeker, Hunter, Hider, and The Quester. Funny, my name is Quest, and I am a Quester. The Seeker groups usually round up to around 20 people, they will go out into space to other planets, get food and other supplies, then come home. The Hunter's are what you would call a Guard at a castle or something. Our village is basically a small place that is guarded and patrolled by the Hunters. When you're my age you can only leave when you have a duty or you are actually liable to survive out there. This planet doesn't have very many small cute animal's... When you turn eighteen; you can finally stop, and put your training to work. The Hider is someone who keeps track of all the villages. They are the most rare of all the roles. Only they know where the other villages are. Once you leave the Sphere, you can't turn back unless you know exactly how and where. And only the Hider's know that. You can't see inside the Sphere and from the inside you can't see the real outside, only a constant fake moving picture. Or, that's what I have always believed. But if I'm wrong, it's just two sided glass. The Quester! My role! Well, we go out and find new species! We can even explore new, or already discovered, planets! To me, I'm happy with my birth given role! Your role can be chosen by the ruler of your Village, or your birth month will be your role. I was born on the month May, so, I am a Quester.

Oh, and;...I lied, they don't really have many tree's. Yes, there is some tree plots in multiple places for their leaves, sap, and wood. But they don't have any more than what they need. Or try not to. There is gravity even without air, so, we all have our feet on the ground. All but some. I'll put up a animal log soon after this one so you guys won't be so confused with our species! But, that's a maybe. I might have to go train.. Anyways;

Five; More about me! I may be a Quester, but I haven't actually gotten to the age of sixteen to start the Quests. I am still in a practicing faze. I don't have many friends due to our living rank. We live on the outskirts of the village which is where all the "lowlife" Astrians are. We are lowlifes. The closer to the middle you are the more better living you have. You don't even have to Seek, Hunt, Quest, all of that. More deadly animal's can get us since we are so close to the edge of the border(but that's only if the Sphere breaks). Even though, it's an invisible border, when you exit the village Sphere (which is a big globe that wraps around the village to protect the Astrian's and keep them safe) it's like that so you can't see the real outside. I only know what I've been told of their planet. I don't know if it is a lie or if it's true. But I'll find out soon.

And last but never least; Six; the most important.

If you disobey your role, and leave your village without permission or the correct age, you will never be welcomed to any other again. This planet has made up these logs. When you're born (which I was born in secret), you are given a chip in the back of your neck(and my "dad" gave me mine). It keeps up with your health, your food, your water, your strength, kinda like a video game. The only people who can access it is your parents until you turn a teenager; then it's all your business. My mom was always the only one allowed to access it, though. It has a section where you can type and keep notes. And to activate it you have to tap the button that's usually behind the ear. Due to my horns, they found a way to place it along my neck. It's a small button embedded in the side bottom of my neck. It has silver veins running across it, but that is only because of the placement. Mine and my moms skin feels like warm leather with a fleshy look to it. Oh! Yeah, our blood is four different colors! The village rulers (the first rank) usually go by a black bloodline. True bloods. The second ranks go by a light red blood. Normies(kinda like a usual level society's human). The third ranks have a dark grey blood line. You would think they would be higher up than the Normies, but no. They are pretty close to my sister and dad's blood line; the fourth bloodline. It is a almost white but grey in the mix. My mom's blood is Silver. It shines. Exactly like mine. Where she came from; Planet Fasnus, their blood was all the same. Her story started by her being abducted, then brought here to planet Rioko, and then they had tests done on her. But what they didn't know, was that she was newly pregnant. She didn't know their way of tongue, so her warnings fell on def ears. Around two months when she started having morning sickness did one of the doctors finally stop and start to take care of her. That doctor is my non-blood related dad. He's kept her safe, taught her, and now it is like she's one of this village's own.

I, on the other hand, know everything about Fasnus, and have always aspired to go there due to my father still being there. My mom has told me about him, but she hasn't ever told me what he looked like... Too bad I don't look like mom. I am an exact duplicate of my dad. And my mom always looked at me with these yearning eyes that only gave it away. She missed him..

(And yes, I know I say "Astrian" like I am not one myself. Well, I'm not. My species name is actually Falkin. Surprise! I am only doing it so you will get the hang of the species they are. I hope it was helping!)

So, my rules were;

1-Don't leave the village until I'm eighteen.

2-Find a way to get to Fasnus and get mom off of Rioko and back to Fasnus without being caught.

3-Don't bleed(If they see my blood, I'll have to be turned in for testing like mom did fifteen years ago...).

4-Keep your eyes to yourself(My planet's eyes tended to glow their natural color on some occasions (mine is a grey-white, with a hint of diluted purple. When they glow they're a bright white!) due to my species.

5-Always wear a beanie so they don't see my horns.

6-Always wear a scarf or a turtle neck when going out so they don't see my silver-color-veined button.

7-Don't speak. I don't know how to speak in Astrian. I only know Falkin.. Mom and my "adoptive" (he didn't really adopt me) dad are the only ones who can understand me. I play with my sister and communicate by snapping my fingers or eye contact. She's three. And her name is Amandine.

8-Conceal your magic. (The Astrian species doesn't have magic. And me and mom's species, Falkin, do. Everyone's is different, though. My mom can emit light from her fingertips. Mine is a little more than that. I can see in the dark and also see farther. As of space. I can see Rioko from Fasnus. I can see the tree's with blue leaves on it. And I can see the bright purple waters it holds. I can even see the craters in our three moons.

My story wouldn't be interesting if I didn't break the rules, now would it?

I know where a drop ship that held the otherworldly items for the Astrian's landed outside the border. And I have learned how to hot-wire a ship. It was in our Quester training. Just, the worst part is: I only know so much about the animal's on this world, and the animal's attracted to the light of the falling drop ship.

I had everything I needed in the backpack on my back and my dark blue scarf covered my techno holocom button for my status.

The only problem would have been the guards, but, the guards were called off today. Today is the one day of this year where everyone in our village goes to the big castle in the middle. It was a party for the birth of a new black blood. And instead of watching for the guards on the inside. The guards are put to the test and shown outside. If some die by the time the night is over, they weren't fit to be the new heir's guard. That was how this planet's Hunter's went. But once I leave these walls. None of the rules apply to me. Whatever role you are, you become something else if you leave. I'm a Quester. So when I step out, I'll be a Quested. Meaning, I am no longer liable for the job, and I am no longer able to Quest. I have Quested and it is over. No matter if you have went of your missions as a Quester or not. Your role is automatically a Quester. And then that gives people someone they can look for. If you find a Quested as a Quester, you get a ranking up. But only if you kill them. Your family will be in a new home, and you will get better food rations. But I'm not going for that. Call me selfish, but I'm saving my real family. I'll figure out what to do with Amandine later. She is too young to understand at the moment. This world has a full shield around it. Once we leave that shield, I won't be able to see animal health bars, the strength they have, or any of their status's. And that only applies for the animal's. If it's a new species, it won't have a health bar due to its blood not being ran through testing and put into the shield to detect the animal. This planet is under fifty percent known. I'm taking a big risk. If a Hunter were to leave the border, he would be the Hunted. Being Hunted until death by other's of his role for a high level up in life. It's all a game to the true bloods. And I, apparently, am the only one who sees that. I'll explain the other's through time. There is a lot to show, tell, and, most importantly, explore, in this world before I get to that drop ship.

So, considering I'm right next to the sphere, prepared to walk through it. My family asleep and trusting I'm still in my room. No guards surrounding me. I wouldn't be able to come back. But I have a plan. And I know exactly how to play it out.

Don't get caught by the guards.

Make it to the tree plot then to the rock formations.

Then find the bigger tree plot with the in-ground caves. Stay there throughout tomorrow night and rest up.

That was the plan.

I was about to step out of the safe zone into the world of unknown possibilities. My knuckles gripping on my chain backpack strap turned white, the back of my throat filled with bile before I gulped.

My white eyes looked into the small lines and hectograms that made up this hologram sphere wall. I was stepping into unknown territory with only a memory and whatever had in my backpack and holocom memory notes.

I was stepping into the unknown.

I was stepping into My Destiny.
