CHAPTER 24

Sia was at grocery store and was looking at the ingredients for her cooking. She was picking some vegetables and fruits and she came out of the store. She was putting everything in her car and came back. She was taking the stuff from her car and Eric also arrived there. Sia saw him and say why did you come so early? I just get from..... Then they heard and gun shot sound. Eric look at Sia and saw she collapsed on the floor. He went to her nad saw blood flowing from her back. She take her in his arm and touch her back and feel her back covered in blood. He quickly take her in his arm and put her in the car and take her to the hospital. She was taken to operation room and Eric was sitting there being all nervous and anxious. Then someone put hand in his shoulder and he look at him and Mate was looking him and Mate say don't worry, sir. Eric don't say anything and turn around. After sometime, doctor came out of operation theatre and he say Sia is fine now. Then Eric feel relaxed and he went to see Sia in her room. He went inside the room and saw Sia lying on her bed and went near her. He sit beside her and look at her. Then he just came out of the room. He ask Mate, you find him. Mate nod his head and they went back to Eric house. He was walking towards a room while folding his sleeves and enter inside. There was a man tied rope with chair. Eric punch him without saying anything and he scream in pain. Eric punch him again and ask who ask you to shot Sia? That man nervously say Jack. Eric punch him once again and came out of the room.

Sia wake up after hours and saw her team there. Reb say ma'am, how are you feeling now? Sia blink her eyes and Alex say we were so worried. Sia say I am OK. Den say how can you say that when you were shotted? Sia say but I am really fine. Alex say let her rest for now and let's go back. Sia say OK, you all go back to your work. Then Eric open the door and saw Sia wake up. Reb saw Eric and say let's go. They all went out of the room and Eric close the door. He went near her and ask how are you feeling now? Sia say little pain. Eric sit at stool there and Sia say thank you for saving me. Eric nod his head and Sia saw bruises around his hand and knew he had found the shooter. She say you found the man. Eric say umm. Sia ask did you hand his over to police? Eric didn't reply anything and Sia say thank you for catching the man but now hand him over to us. Eric say Jack was behind it and I am sorry. Sia ask why are you saying sorry? Eric say I should have been more careful. Sia say it's not your fault so don't worry and more importantly I am OK. Eric look at her and she continues don't think too much about it and you also get some rest. Eric smile and say but now you are the one who need rest and Sia say I am hungry. Eric say he will go and get something for her and went out of the room.
