I Will Stay By Your Side

"Old man, Do you think I'm a bad person ?" Ming Fang asked, somehow disturbed by Yu Bin's and Xian Chen's reactions a few hours ago.

"Why do you think so?" The old man asked, turning around and staying down on the chair beside Ming Fang.

They were reaching their home not so long ago and he was preparing some food for them but Ming Fang's troubled voice made him stop whatever he was doing and stayed down beside her.

"Their reaction, don't you find it strange? The young girl was looking really scared when she first saw my face, like… she was looking like she saw her worst nightmare. In the beginning, I thought that I scared her because she was lost in thought and I suddenly appeared but then when the man appeared he was looking like he was ready to fight me. " Ming Fang answered, thinking about what happened.

" Jiayi, there is no bad person in this world. We might do things that in our mind are ok but are looking bad for others, but that doesn't mean we are bad."

"What about the killers, robbers then?"

"No human being will kill for pleasure. Well just psychopaths, but they are not doing it either. They are sick, they need help. And about robbers, they are doing it because of their problems, they always have a reason.

Remembering that moment when Yu Bin confirmed in a way her parent's death, Ming-Fang became suddenly sad.

"What happened, Jiayi?" The old man asked, worried. She was just fine a moment ago but now she is looking so sad. "ok, don't call me dad if you don't want, call me an old man like always"

"It's not that… I just wonder, how did my parents die? Why do you think I was so hurt? Did I try to suicide? Is it because of my parent's death? Do you think the two know what happened?"

"I don't know what happened, it can be possible that you just fell by accident. Stop thinking the worst." The old man was really worried right now. It would have been better if she had never met the two.

While in this small village, Ming-Fang was stressing herself with what might've happened in her past, in the city the five people were stressing themselves with how Ming-Fang became like that.

"Yu Bin!" Xian Chen called her out seeing that she was lost in her thoughts.

"Whatever you think you want to do, please tell us, don't put yourself in danger again. Ok?" Bao Fang said, patting her shoulder.

She knew Yu Bin very well, she could swear that Yu Bin was thinking of finding Ming Fang right now. It was a good idea to find her but not by herself. Not knowing if Ming Fang really lost her memories or if she was just playing with them was not a good idea to go by herself.

"Ok, master…" Yu Bin said but stopped herself.

I promise," she answered, trying to convince them that she knows the danger and that she will not do anything that will put herself in danger. Still, they knew, Yu Bin was thinking about meeting Ming Fang by herself without thinking that this could be the most dangerous thing in the world.
