The security was tight but still some of the attackers entered the palace by killing some men.They disguised themselves as the soldiers and entered.Some of them attacked at the servant quaters and some headed to the other rooms.Many people were killed.

Anne was sleeping in her room, suddenly she heard something and woke up.It sounded like branches cracking below the window of her balcony.It was a loud sound.So she got out from her bed and went closer to the window.As she was proceeding step by step her heart beat began faster. And suddenly flung open her door by Tristan.He came and stood before her and blocked the arrow that was about to hit her head.She only saw the arrow when he pulled her towards him.She fell on him and he hugged her real tight.Soldiers came from behind the door and killed the attacker in the tree.

Anne was schoked by what happened just before sometime.What was going on?She looked at him.He put his both hands on her cheeks and said"Don't be afraid Anne everything will pass.Come with me I'll take you to your mother's room.Some attackers are creating trouble. I'll be busy for sometime. I promise everything will be over after tomorrow morning. We'll go to the riverside."Anne was looking at her and felt as if he was hiding something. He was about to say something but stopped.Anne realized her cheeks were wet, her eyes were wet.She was crying.She was looking at his eyes this whole time.She then held his hands and said"Promise me, we'll go together to the riverside tomorrow."He paused for a second then nooded.

The situation in the palace was not good.He couldn't guarantee that he will live till tomorrow.They were loosing on their part.The enemy was stronger than they imagined.Some of the rooms were in fire.Many of the men died.

He took Anne to her mother.He held her hand and said"Stay safe".When there hands brushed before he left she wanted to cry with all her might.She asked herself "Why does it feel like it was our last meeting? Why my heart can't stay quiet?Hope you'll be fine."
