Please Leave Them Alone

The four of us then sat by my bed and listened on the voice-only VLive. "We're here to confirm the rumors of us being in Japan." That was the first sentence that we heard, and I could immediately tell that it was Kangwoo's voice.

As the other members speak their minds and experiences for the past days, Kangwoo would translate and speak in English. This wasn't the normal flow of a voice-only VLive but Elise explained why they were doing the VLive like this.

"They mentioned that everyone should understand the things that they'll say today because it was so important to them." Huh, okay…? Just what do they want to say this time?

"Alright, the very purpose of this VLive is about our friends that we recently spent time with…" Oh, here it comes. "We know that you guys wanted to get to know them too but please, we would like to ask you to stop following them… They're not used to people following or popping out in their way, they've also been afraid to go out lately but it's their vacation, and we don't want them to feel constricted… We've just reconnected and it wasn't even planned so we ask you, we beg you… if you see them, please let them be…".

"Oh, my gosh..." I then heard Elise say under her breath. Kangwoo and the other members were alternating with each other in conveying that message, practically translating each other's words for fans that couldn't understand Korean to still get the message.

I guess they're serious about this 'leave our friends alone', Justin getting hurt might've been their trigger point. To be honest, I'm quite surprised that they care so much, I thought that they'll just pay us off regarding the hospital expenses. And the surprise didn't end there, their next statements pretty much shocked me...

"These friends mean so much to us... We don't want to ruin their precious vacation... Some of them already got hurt badly and it broke our hearts knowing we were the cause of it… " The comment section blew up; with words of apologies, pity, promises… And to add some effect, sobbing sounds were heard from their side, and a long pause. The fans asked who was crying, some speculate which member while others just commented comforting words to whoever was crying.

I then glanced beside me since I knew who it was and an avid fan was right beside me. Believe it or not but my sense of hearing is quite amazing, and I could identify a person just by their voice.

"It's Jyuji…" We heard Elise say and now she too began sobbing. Ebony had to stand up and comforted her by rubbing her back while also giving her a warm hug.

"[Shh… It's okay, Jyuji, it's okay…]" I then heard Kangwoo's voice a bit far from the microphone and then Jyuji sobbingly apologizes near the microphone. He then went on to say he was so worried about us that he couldn't stop thinking that he'll lose us. Then the comment section blew up again, containing mixed negative and positive comments though the majority were saying that it's our loss if we'll unfriend such an amazing group, which made me raise an eyebrow. Are they serious…?

"Huh, you guys misunderstood." An annoyed Kangwoo was then heard on the broadcast, he then proceeded to say his message in two different languages, practically translating so both parties can understand. "Jyuji meant death not unfriend… What happened to our friends!? I'll tell you what happened, they were assaulted!" Kangwoo's voice was a bit angry and I could hear their manager calming him down but he didn't care. Well, Kangwoo might be an idol but he was known to be a frank person, "No, I wanted them to know… Three of our friends were beaten! Including a female friend! And one of them was badly beaten, he couldn't even open one of his eyes!".

The comment section went silent as Kangwoo was clearly calming himself down, "They aren't what you think, so please keep those comments to yourselves…" And then after a moment, a lot of 'sorry' messages flooded the comment section. Those earlier comments were deleted and many asked for forgiveness.

"Wow, that's awesome…" Vince had then commented. "You hit the jackpot, Jeanne.". I then looked at him like he grew two heads.

He just chuckled at me like it was something so obvious. Oh god if you all only knew, this mark on my neck…? It was done by him! I then again held my bandaged neck but the pain had been decreasing every time he bites me. It's like my body was getting used to being bitten by him. Ugh, no, stop it! Stop it! I shouldn't think like this. Kangwoo is a vampire, he wants my blood and nothing else, I repeat, NOTHING else!

The group then continued with random topics as they answered other questions from their fans but neither Kangwoo nor Jyuji were heard, they might have been upset about earlier. And before they bid their goodbye, Kangwoo had said, "As we end this broadcast, again, from the bottom of our hearts, we ask you to please leave our friends alone, you can bother us anytime you like but not them, they simply want a quiet vacation and so do we so please…". Well, I guess they're not that bad, I just hope their fans listen to them and leave us the hell alone.

After that, the comment section was full of promises and assurance that we won't be disturbed. Some also said that they'll 'protect' us. Wow, I wonder how they would do that if they were hundreds of kilometers away from us. And after a few minutes more, the group said goodbye and ended their broadcast.

The four of us looked at each other and were a bit relieved by the group's sudden VLive. It brought us some hope that this incident will be the last. Then a knock came through the door. "I'll get it…" Vince said as he stood up and went to the door. "Oh, you're all here… Come on in then…". From the door, along with their manager, it was the group who just had their broadcast come inside the room.
