“It’s nice to have dinner with family like this,” Dad said, starting a conversation with Mr. Collins who was running his knife back and forth in the Kobe beef steak.
“Yes it just seems yesterday when we became friends…,” Mr. Collins replied, with a cheesy smile.
“I didn't know my dad could be this cringy,” I thought as I again checked the time in my watch, it was almost eleven.
“You okay…,” Ivy mumbled, as she caught me almost twice, checking over my watch.
“Oh! Yes I’m fine,” I replied, getting busy again with my food.
“We should leave kids alone for some time… so we can have a drink in the bar,” Dad said, leaving with Mr. Collins leaving us alone after the dinner, to discuss about the project.
“He is doing a lot of effort,” I mumbled, leaving the dining table putting a smile on my face.
“Drink or coffee…,” I asked, turning to Ivy.
“I've a commercial tomorrow so, Coffee….,” she replied.
“Great,” I said, shifting to the kitchen.
