Chapter 34 :Past

SERENE'S POV～

 After the scene just now I storm out of the club and just ignore the calls from the others walking right towards the first car there which happens to be Enzo's.

 My chest feels tight and the sudden urge and need to breath overwhelms me and I try very hard to get rid of the tight suffocating feelings there.

 Turning on the car I zoom towards the road not caring about the rules,speed limits or anything that has to do with it.

 Rage and pain feels me.A familiar yet very unfamiliar feeling which irks me.

 The incident three years ago has been a sore topic for me and it brings up unnecessary memories.

 Memories start rushing in and I curse out loud before increasing the speed of the car.

 Rolling down the glasses of the car the evenibg breezes whooses and blows my hair behind giving me a sense of adreline.

 FLASHBACK

''Come on Rene let's not go with this plan'' she pleads her beautiful green eyes starring at me the worry and pleadings obvious in her innocent orbs.

 ''We have to try Bella''I tell her,my hands holds hers in a tight grip and I look at the others nodding.

 ''No Re-Rene this is risky''She stutters her body trembles slightly to show just how scared she is.

 I smile sadly at the side and my hands grip hers.

 END OF FLASHBACK

 I suck in a sharp inhale of breath and my eyes cloud over the memories bringing back all the pain and anger I feel towards the past.

 Regret washes over me and the amount of lives I have ruined almost cause me to choke.

 FLASHBACK

 ''The baby is coming Serene''She cries out holding my hand.

 My eyes immediately widens and my face goes pale as pain starts to settle in realisation.

 END OF FLASHBACK

 I continue driving and although I am way past the speed limit but I don't care and continue to drive fast,The car zooms past the road and I speed through the busy streets.

 I gasp out feeling suffocated by my thoughts, my lips tremble and I try very hard to cry but it just won't come out.

 ''Ahh''I scream banging my hands against the steering of the car in furstration.

 I suddenly turn and see a big truck heading towards the car the lights blinding and without thinking.

I flip the car towards the other direction and because of the force it turns several times in the air before being upside down. 

 The last I feel is the broken shards of glass piercing through my skin and a warm liquid running down my forehead before black dots cloud my vision. 

 Everything goes black.

 My last thoughts are and will always be.

 'Is this how I end'

 'Without my revenge'.

AT SERENE'S HOUSE.

 Camilla is seen nestled in Vanessa's and Angelina's arms while sobbing profusely and blaming herself for all that happened.

 Vanessa tries to calm her down,but all the while her heart remains uneasy with worry at the thoughts of serene.

 They had all seen her three years ago.

 How she fought her demons and tried very hard to remain sane and be back to normal again.

 That period of time was the hardest as Serene had lost alot of things and one of the greatest she lost was herself.

 She turned into an empty shell,a rock without feeling and a body without a soul.

 Vanessa glares at Giovanni who is also pacing round the room with the others the wirry evident in his face.

 Vanessa let's out a scoff and her glare intensifies.

 ''You motherfucker this is all your fucking fault'' Vanessa spits still glaring at him. Mariano steps forward and tries to calm her down only to receive a glare of his own.

 He steps back his hands raised in surrender, Camilla continues sobbing and Vincent steps forwards and starts rubbing sothng circles on her back.

 The others still stand there their phones out and making phone calls while prayingshe is safe.

 Lorenzo is standing in the other side of the room,his phone in hand while barking oders at the person on the other end.

 Angry veins make theirselves present on his arm and his forehead as his nostril flare in anger.
