Accompany me tonight

Chu Yi Chen's lips twitched and he smiled mysteriously.

"Aren't you afraid that your boss will hear you and fire you?"

"What are you afraid of? He can't hear me anyway." Gu Xiao Xiao made a face and turned around to go back to work. However, the back of her collar was pulled on by Chu Yi Chen. She tried once to get away but she couldn't move.

Chu Yi Chen extended his long arm and embraced her into his chest from behind. His chin landed on the top of her head and his other hand took over Gu Xiao Xiao's documents. He said gently, "Stay here tonight and accompany me."

Without allowing Gu Xiao Xiao to decline, Chu Yi Chen used a bit of his strength and lifted her up by the waist.

Gu Xiao Xiao shrieked in shock as her body tilted. Scared, she grabbed onto Chu Yi Chen's clothes, which made Chu Yi Chen grin in satisfaction.

"Let me go, I have to go to work tomorrow! I'm not done today's work either!" Gu Xiao Xiao nervously looked at Chu Yi Chen and her heart pounded. For him to act this way reminded her of their first encounter. Even today, when she remembers that morning, Gu Xiao Xiao was still in disbelief. Just what happened between them…

"You are not the only one who has to go to work."

He carried Gu Xiao Xiao up to the second floor and into the bedroom. With just the right amount of strength, he placed her down onto the bed. He then tussled her hair and said, "let me go draw you a bath."

Chu Yi Chen walked into the bathroom and Gu Xiao Xiao sat on the bed unmovingly. She checked out Chu Yi Chen's room and noticed that his entire condo used brown as its main color. It felt stable, classy, and also graceful.

Glancing around his room, Gu Xiao Xiao suddenly realized that she knows nothing about him. Up until now, she only knows that he is Chu Xiao Xi's older brother. She doesn't even know the name of the corporation he works for.

When Chu Yi Chen returned, Gu Xiao Xiao was still in a daze. After hearing his footsteps, she regained consciousness. Like a bunny who had run into a wolf, she hopped down from the bed at an extremely fast speed and dashed for the door.

Chu Yi Chen's arm casually swung around and successfully caught the person who was trying desperately to get away. He leaned down and once again whispered provocative words by her ear. His lips unintentionally glided by her earlobe. He felt her body quiver and he said in a low voice, "If you try to escape again, I can't promise you what I will and won't do tonight."

Gu Xiao Xiao gulped. By this he means if she listens to him nicely, he won't touch her?

After Chu Yi Chen pushed her into the bathroom, Gu Xiao Xiao locked the door and undressed as if she was unleashing her anger. She entered the bath and spent a long while in there. By the end of it, the water was starting to feel cold and that's when she finally got up. She picked up the bathrobe Chu Yi Chen prepared for her and walked out, annoyed.

She couldn't stay in the bathroom all night nor did she have the courage to stay in a room with him alone…

Chu Yi Chen had already washed up in the bathroom downstairs. He was calling someone by the window when Gu Xiao Xiao walked out. His traditional and fluent French made it impossible for Gu Xiao Xiao to know what he was saying.

Chu Yi Chen turned around and gestured for her to come. When she walked to him, he hugged her with one arm while holding onto the phone with his other hand. His conversation with the person on the other end of the line continued.

Gu Xiao Xiao stood by Chu Yi Chen and looked down into the traffic below with the red and green lights. It was already past 11 but there were still so many people and cars on the streets.
