"...we always went as a family, but after the accident, nothing is the same anymore..."

Eve spoke through tears about the happy times she spent with her family.

"I understand you Eve…"

All the places remind me of my father and the happy times we lived in them.

After saying that I grabbed Eve's right shoulder and pulled her into my chest.

Eve starts to sob, now that she doesn't need to hold back, and hugs me because she thinks I understand her pain in going through the same thing as her.

I feel my chest tighten at the sight of her crying.

"Eve…"

I told her Eve's name and she looked me in the eye.

"Fabri…"

I wanted to say something to cheer her up, but seeing Eve's eyes gleaming with tears and pale pink moist lips, I was drawn to her, as I got closer I notice that Eve is leaning up with her lips parted. She is the moon and I feel like the sun.

I close my eyes and feel the impact of the soft and tender meat in my mouth, a soft electric shock passes through my lips and runs through my entire body. This feeling feels good.

"I-I…"

I opened my eyes and saw Eve open them too, she pulled back in surprise as she stuttered.

"I'm still not ready"

Looking away from me, Eve touches her lips.

"I didn't plan on that either, but the kiss felt good. My lips still feel salty haha"

I will not apologize for kissing her but I understand that this is sudden for her. Still I want to lighten this little discomfort that she feels. Although it is true that her lips tasted somewhat salty from tears.

"He he…"

Eve laughs for a moment, but then she cries again. I hugged her again, Eve's mood swings are serious but that only makes her want her more. A fragile girl like her needs to be heard and understood.

I am the man and my father said that if he sees a girl cry, he should not cry too, instead he should be strong and make her laugh. I trust and love my father, his advice shouldn't be for nothing, right?

"Eve, how about I cook you your favorite Chinese food Lo-Mein? I want to give you a welcome gift to Summerville"

I don't know how to cook Chinese food, but I can learn. Although I'm going to need a few days to watch cooking videos. And since I know Eve doesn't just accept it, I had to come up with a reasonable excuse.

Eve laughs a little between sobs. Then she separates from me and wipes her tears with the sleeves of her jacket.

Eve looks at me with a cute smile, her eyes moist and slightly red from tears from earlier.

"No Eve, I'll do this. Besides, I was learning how to prepare Chinese food, so I want someone to try it."

I stubbornly refused to give up on this idea. They say that you can get closer to a girl's heart with a good meal and this can make Summerville feel more like home to Eve.

Eve jokes as she covers her mouth. He seemed to like the idea so I see no problem in continuing. But we need to organize the day.

"How about you come home to cook on Saturday? My sister and two of her friends will be there. Or I can come to your house if she wants"

Eve is happy, and she moves her legs from side to side with a smile and closed eyes. She already accepted my invitation to cook seeing that she was not going to back down.

"I think Saturday is fine in your case and it's not a problem to cook for 3 more people"

It's not really a problem, I just hope my food doesn't leave a bad first impression on them.

"Great! Now that I think about it we have a lot to do on Saturday. I can't wait for it to arrive!"

I'm glad to see Eve excited for what's to come. She doesn't have that empty or depressed look anymore. I want to keep that cute smile if possible.
