"Hey Tony, I have to go see someone in the park so you can go back to Maria. I'll walk, it's close anyway"

"Haha, I understand you, boy. I was young too, let me take you, at least so that Maria doesn't get mad for leaving you at school."

Tony has a mischievous smile, his eyes are not greasy when he smiles.

God! If it wasn't for Maria he would begin to doubt her sexual orientation. But it seems that he misunderstood my situation.

Still, Tony decided to take me. So I got back in his car with my backpack on my lap.

As we walked to the park, Tony made small talk as he complained about his job because Americans are too picky about food.

I just need a chance to take the key and make a copy with the locksmith. But Principal Smith is almost always in her office, she very rarely strays from there. But she really likes coffee, there is the opportunity.

When the car stopped in front of the park, I was getting out when I heard Tony's voice.

I just smiled as he shook his head, Tony has too much imagination.

I said goodbye to him, promising to go to his pizzeria tomorrow.

Although now that he mentions it, it's not a date or anything, but I'm a little excited to run into Eve now.

Now that Tony is gone, I put the backpack back on my back and walked towards the center of the park.

The park is…a normal park like any other, nothing fancy or modern. Just a fountain surrounded by many trees, big, small or thin. And aside from the public wooden benches, there was a cement public toilet for men and women.

"Where is that girl?"

I stopped for a moment and looked, the place is not big but I don't see Eve anywhere.

I didn't tell her that she would come but I remember that she said that at 10 pm or thereabouts she would go home.

I'll wait a bit, maybe she's in the bathroom.

I leaned my back against a nearby tree and crossed my arms.

I couldn't help yawning, today my body demands a lot and I'm already sleepy. We'd better go home and tell Eve tomorrow.

I open my sleepy eyes to see a flock of birds land on the edge of the fountain and drink water. Then they flap their wings and fly in the sky while making bird noises.
