He didn't expect it, out of nowhere his life changed. Now he was inside the last TV showed he had ever watched You! That wasn't it though he was also in the body of none other than Jo Goldberg with a system that....well he wasn't sure if it was really helpful or not.

Joe woke the next morning and hated it, he knew that he needed to go to the store to work, but in his last life he was a bum, so he never took working seriously. He lived off the little money he got from his parents along with whatever he did doing odd jobs, it was weird that he was going into an actual job.

[Reminder that Host has one A-Class Gacha Pull, would host like to use it?]

Joe paused wiping his face as he saw that, shrugging he nodded, 'Sure, go ahead and use it.'

Like last time a colorful torrent went off in front of his face, though it was much dimmer than the original one he had gotten the night before. He didn't bother it as he began to brush his teeth, he was glad he didn't need to stop doing things in order to get his rewards, it would be pointless to.

[Congratulations Host! You have gained 'The Mind of John Kramer from Saw Franchise']

The system announced as a red ball of light hovered in front of him, Joe was stunned as he never imagined gaining anything other than skills, but that didn't seem to be it as he looked at this. Touching it a rush of knowledge flooded into his head, he knew the man John Kramer was an architect and civil engineer in the Saw Franchise.

'Huh, neat.' Joe thought as the knowledge finished and he now had over a million was to torture someone in his head, he didn't know if he would use it yet. Who was he kidding, he was going to use it, although he might not be the original Joe, that didn't mean he didn't gain his tendencies.

Joe liked to fault himself saying that he didn't mean to do the killings, but that is what a lot of psychopaths say, they try to act like they don't have emotions. When really, they did have them and could replicate them quite well, it was a reason Joe could connect with people so well even as a crazy person.

'System, can you show my status?' Joe asked as he got dressed for the day.

{A/N: Don't know his real age and honestly, they seem to be in their late twenties in the show, so the age is made up.}

[Name: Joe Goldberg (Joe Angel)

Age: 26

Skills: Hacker (SSS)

Minds: John Kramer (A)]

Joe nodded at how simple the system was, he was glad for that as he didn't see a reason for anything difficult as he got pulls based off when the system issued missions. Seeing everything he wanted Joe took off, he was dressed and ready, so he needed to get to work.

Joe was working and was bored, he knew that he needed the job in order to meet Love and so that she could see him, but he didn't really like this job all that much. He enjoyed reading but unlike Joe he wasn't someone who wanted to sell other people books, he would rather make them himself.

Yawning he was setting up a book display when he heard, "Excuse me?"

Turning he saw Forty standing there with a green drink in his hands, 'Their parents really are hippies, who names their children Love and Forty, that is not common at all.' "Yes, how can I help you?" Joe asked getting out of his thoughts.

"Yeah. Um... Can you tell me if this Carl Jung book is vegan?" Forty said with a 'friendly' smile on his face.

Joe raised a brow, "Are you asking if the authors have written something about being vegan or are you asking if the books are vegan themselves?"

Joe knew what he wanted but played it off as if he didn't, he didn't like the way Forty walked over to him as if he was king of the world. The guy was a drug addict failing screen writer, he would have to be an idiot to take crap from him.

Plus, he didn't need the job, he could leave any time he wanted, and since at the moment it was just a cover for him, he was going along with it.

"New here, huh? Yeah, your apron is, like, very fresh." Forty said as he began to walk away where he grabbed a gluten free donut that was on display behind him.

"Yeah, I just started this week. The books are not by vegan authors though or anything about being vegan though, is that a problem?" Joe asked holding the books in his hands when all he really wanted to do was smash them on his face.

"I'm just messing with you old sport." Forty laughed before he began to talk to Calvin about the books, which Joe didn't listen to as he didn't really care about the guy.

After their talk Forty smiled him before he left, Joe could see the worry in Calvin's eyes as he talked to him about the books, so he reassured him before getting to work again. After telling him to watch the register Joe walked over there passing Love who was carrying a tray of pastries.

"Hey, let me guess hurricane Forty?" She asked with a smile as he took his position at the register.

"Yeah, seems like a nice enough guy, if not a little to intense about the books on display." Joe said while chuckling a bit.

That made Love smile widely though as she looked at him happily, "Yeah, he can be a little much. Don't worry. He almost never actually fires anyone. You know how some people are, like, starring in their own movie? Well, his... is about a hilarious misunderstood genius working with idiots."

Joe chuckled loving her smile as she explained, it he knew that she had a real close connection with her brother, which is why he didn't put the guy down. Joe was actually determined to not let Forty turn out like in the show.

"Ahh well lucky us for being the idiots to see his genius then." Joe said with a smile as he rang up a customer missing the look that Love threw him, though a small smile was on her face, "Umm, do I have something on my face?" Joe asked when he noticed her watching him.

"No, I was just trying to figure out what your movie was though." She answered a sweet smile on her face as she watched him intensely.

"Oh okay, I think it might be the one where the beautiful woman gets him in trouble for slacking at work so he can talk to her." He smirked as he helped another customer check out.

Love didn't say anything but smile at him, he was tempted to walk off like in the original just to stick to some story, but he didn't as he saw no reason too. The other Joe did it so that he could masturbate in private to thoughts of her, he didn't feel that urge.

Eventually Love got tired of looking at him before going back to where she was supposed to be, he just went back to work.

After finishing his day Joe eyes twitched as he walked home, he was nearing the apartments when out the corner of his eye he saw someone watching him from the roof top. When he knew he was out of view he followed the path of the apartments and walked to the roof.

Opening the door, he saw Ellie standing there looking down at here phone, it clicked then, and he knew what part this was, though he didn't act the same, "So, is this are you stalking me?" He asked laughing slightly.

She looked panicked but seeing that he didn't mean any harm she calmed down, "What are you talking about?"

He chuckled pointing at her phone, "You were filming me with your phone, did you at least get me at a good angle?"

She blushed as she hid her phone behind her back, "What! I wasn't filming you, you're the creep here. Otherwise, why would you be standing and blocking me from leaving?"

Chuckling Joe turned around, "Whatever you say Ellie. Just don't post them please."

She didn't respond and he didn't need her to either as he left the building, he needed to deal with not having a driver's license first. Walking around like he was, well he found it to be horrible so he was more than prepared to get a car so that he could stop doing it.

Taking a bus, he made it to the DMV and waited to be called so that he could get the test for the driver's license. After being called he walked to the counter smiling at the lady behind it, "Hi, I need a driver's license."

"Proof of Residence and ID." She asked back her face not going from the flat face that it was. Nodding he took them out while handing them over to her, "Sorry slow system."

"No worries." He said smiling as he waited, he wasn't worried about his information since they were all government issued meaning they were legit anyway.

"That is completely unacceptable!" He heard a raised voice and felt his eye twitch, LA was such a big place that there were three DMV's available, and he just happened to be at the one she was at.

It must either be fate playing with him or it was his body which just brought him here, because while he could remember all the scenes he didn't remember every location.

Looking back Joe could see Love arguing with another person at the window as she was helping a woman who was trying to get her own driver's license. He shook his head as he saw her getting loud about what was happening, she was still being passionate about what she believed in.

Love and Joe looked into one another's eyes, and he could see the surprise in hers as she saw him, he could only chuckle as he raised a brow at her. Chuckling to himself he turned back to the woman who was manning the area he was at, "Some people, am I right?"

She didn't comment but gave him a deadpan stare.

'Maybe I should kill her? She doesn't seem to like her life anyway, would be a great way to try out my new mind like John Kramer, even if he did his for a redemption type thing.' Joe thought as he looked at her deeply.

"Okay, this is all in order. You'll step over there to take the written test." She said while handing him the giant paper her needed in order to do it.

Joe took it and walked away the same time that Love was done dealing with helping the woman find a translator, "Joe? Kismet, right?"

He chuckled himself, "Yeah, life does have a funny way of bringing two people together, and I promise that I'm not even stalking you this time. Just here to do my driver's test."

She laughed at that, "Well I don't I would mind even if you were. I don't always cause scenes by the way, I promise."

"That was actually impressive, it seemed no one else was going to help her, glad to see you did."

"Good, because I frequently do cause scenes." She chuckled.

"Mhmm, well I need to go take this test."

"Well, you got this. Here." She got on her tip toes as she was slightly shorter than him and kissed his cheek lightly, but it was enough to take his breath away, "For luck."

As she walked away, he shook his head and went ahead and took his test, the luck was working tremendously as he passed on the first try not missing a question. He had never taken the test in his past life, but he was still able to pass, thankfully Joe had passed it before and knew the answers.
