Jacob's Birthday
ANGELINE was used to waking up early since Jacob demanded that she should be with him in the office while their grannies were taking care of their twin babies.
Jacob did not even tell her the real reason, but she felt that he intended to keep an eye on her from being kidnapped by Drake's group again. She could not blame her husband for doing so. And she wasn't ignorant to not know that Drake also had a lot of staff based on the size of the mansion she and Jacob once went which ended in disaster.
She wanted to investigate her own, but she could only get limited information through newspapers and the internet. She wanted to conduct a first-hand investigation, and that would only happen if she returned to Drake's mansion. And she was confident she would see again the man who had been the igniter of her life.
On the other hand, she did not oppose Jacob's secret guarding of her because she too wanted the same to happen, which would ensure her husband's safety.
