Chapter 17: Abandoned Church
After he finishes putting down the term for Issei to join Rias' peerage, a contract is formed and signed by Ray, Issei and Rias.
Issei was then incarnated by Rias with exactly 8 pawn pieces. Piece that represents the potential of the person. Now, everyone is convinced that Issei indeed owns a Longinus gear. For a human without any power or ability, to cost 8 pawns means that his potential is indeed very big.
After they left, Ray spent his morning to evening buying furniture for his new apartment then got his shop that just finished being renovated and furnished to be stocked up and ready to open. He put up a notice in front of his shop that he is hiring.
After that, he brings Cheshire to walk and visit Hyoudou residence because Issei's mom keeps calling him and pestering him to bring Cheshire for dinner. He sighed at how desperate Miki Hyoudou is to meet Cheshire that even her husband is only able to apologize to me for her behaviour.
Not that I bothered since she is giving a free meal and preventing Cheshire from begging for more premium salmon.
I left the house to Raynare's care and ordered her a take out that I already paid in advance before I left for the Hyoudou residence.
However, on my way to Hyoudou residence. I feel like someone is observing me and I couldn't find who it was even with the satellite's help. Either the person is hiding under buildings cover or the person is using magic.
After the meal, I am about to leave but Miki Hyoudou with her usual antics, asks if I can leave Cheshire with her for tonight. I agreed to the husband and wife surprise. I told them that I have a business tonight and I cannot leave Cheshire alone at home. So, I agreed to let Cheshire stay at their home today.
They didn't pry much into my matter and happily brought Cheshire back to their home. I quickly left after giving Cheshire my goodbye. Then I told Raynare to come to the abandoned church immediately to take care of the fallen angel and its stray exorcist before they become a problem.

"I have arrived master…" Raynare announced meekly after she saw how Ray was able to manipulate her body like a puppet if he wanted.
She is a natural in BDSM like Akeno who can turn from a sadist into a masochist depending on her target. For example in front of a cadre, she would be submissive but toward a human, she would be a sadist. To someone that has literal control of her body, she will naturally be submissive.
She tried to find the device that Ray planted inside her but to her avail, she couldn't find or detect the device at all. She couldn't break free from this collar that Ray(system) put on her. She could only follow her new master's whim and hope he would let her live. Her future isn't bleak as Ray had yet to force her into suicidal mission or anything that can get her killed.
Now however, her master demanded her to betray her 'friend'. Probably to reaffirm her loyalty by backstabbing her own friends…
"Just call me Ray, having someone calling me master leaves a bad taste in my mouth." Ray said after remembering the dark elf, Yao, who usually calls him master. She also sacrificed her life to protect Cheshire in her final moments.
"Yes… Ray" Raynare uttered his name after some hesitation.
"Now, I want your help to defeat the other fallen angels and stray exorcists in the abandoned church. Also, do you have someone named Freed Sellzen under your supervision?"
"Yes, the stray exorcist was sent to us by Kokabiel for reinforcement because he is very strong." Raynare replied as we walked up to the abandoned church.
"Then, you will kill or capture Freed Sellzen. Whichever you are capable of carrying out. I will kill the rest." I told her my plan which caused her to freeze up and stopped walking. I stopped on my track and looked back at her with raised eyebrows.
"Is there any part of the play you disagree with perhaps?" I asked since I already knew she had a friend among the fallen angels. She called the name 'Kalawarna' for help while she was experiencing a nightmare.
"Can you spare Kalawarna and Mittelt please. The rest I didn't care at all but please spare those two." Raynare swallowed her indignant and unwillingness before bowing to Ray, hoping that he would accept her request.
Ray looks like he is thinking for a moment which increases the suspense to Raynare. Then Ray nodded.
"Sure, if you want but I will force them to submit just like you. The devil overseer of this town will not be happy if they have crows flying in their territory. Unless they are under my control, which I negotiated with the heiress of Gremory in exchange, I will help them take care of the illegal tennant in the abandoned church.
"I will definitely persuade them. Thank you for granting my request." She bowed again before resuming walking. This time with more determination than just following me with unwillingness.

When arrived at the abandoned church, Raynare will pretend like usual before helping me infiltrate the church. This way, I can kill them all without chance for any stray exorcist escaping. I also left my operators outside to make sure no one escaped the 'clean-up' that was about to commence.
"Heh, told you she just got horny and went to find a toy boy to fuck around when she suggested to date her target before killing him. I should be the one to complete the mission instead if you just wanted to fool around." The male fallen angel, Dohnaseek sneered.
"Shut up you arrogant prick. If you have a problem with me being the leader then you should complain straight to Lord Kokabiel instead of spouting shit on my face." Raynare's return to her previous self when talking to her subordinate.
"Anyway, where is Freed Sellzen?" Raynare asked.
Kalawarna replied saying that Freed Sellzen went out on his crusade against devil contractors. Raynare then asks me through her mind if we should continue. I told her to assemble everyone to make my job easier.
"Then call all the other stray exorcists to the basement, I have something to announce." Raynare ordered the other fallen angels.
Meanwhile, I still pretend to be a human under Raynare's thrall. No one suspected me at all. Some stray exorcists even look at me with some pity when they pass by me.
While they are assembling, I do a mental check on my moves. First will be spreading Cryo grenades to freeze the stray exorcists before shooting at Dohnaseek to eliminate him first then to the freezed stray exorcist.
When every stray exorcist arrived in the basement, Raynare informed me while she staged an announcement about the devil heiresses already discovering their action in Kuoh town.
While everyone is giving their attention to Raynare, I throw dozens of Cryo grenades to the stray exorcists while equipping my Combat Suit. Most of them look confused at the object that I threw at them. Then the chain reaction of the grenades exploding and releasing compressed nitrogen gas that flash freezes the stray exorcists.
Raynare then creates a light spear and stabs Dohnaseek who is focusing on me. The unsuspected backstabbing caught him off guard and my Proposition finished him off with hundreds of bullets turning his body into swiss cheese.
The operators standing outside quickly rushed into the abandoned church and did a quick sweep to make sure there was no survivor.
After Dohnaseek is incapacitated, I proceed to shoot the frozen stray exorcists. Their bodies literally break into pieces like shattered ice. After making sure no intact body is left, I place down a Cryo turret to freeze Dohnaseek to prevent interference.
"Raynare! What is the meaning of this?" Kalawarna demanded from Raynare but she kept her head low while standing by my side.
"There is no need to be angry at your friend, fallen angels. She did this under my order and even requested me to spare both of you instead of being killed like that guy over there." I nudge my head toward Dohnaseek that is repeatedly being frozen by the Cryo turret.
"But- but, why did you betray us! Raynare? Answer me!" Kalawarna is more worried about Raynare than wanting an answer because she knows something is different about her friend.
"I'm sorry Kal… I did this in order to survive… will you surrender peacefully? I wouldn't want to lose my only friend since the day I fell from grace."
"Raynare…"
Meanwhile the two friends are having a drama. My eyes are stuck on Mittelt who simply looks at me and smiles even when Kalawarna is sad. She seems to be unaffected by it.
When I was about to shrug it off as she being weird, I was reminded of the accursed title. Then I looked at Mittelt again and confirmed that she definitely fit into the 'Loli' archetype. I tried to recall the title effect…
Increase affection growth of Loli archetype, Increase attraction to Loli archetype and All Loli archetypes will view the title holder positively and never will reach negative affection regardless of the action.
The last part… does that mean that she will not hate me even if I kill off her family? No, wait… that just makes her into a yandere route when she is willing to kill her kin just to gain my affection or to not get in her way…
I shuddered slightly at the thought brewing in my mind. I mean, there is only one way to find out right?
"Mittelt was it…" I walked closer to her and she didn't react negatively to me. Even Raynare and Kalawarna stopped their drama and looked at Mittelt and me closely.
"Will you betray the fallen angel race and join me?" I asked the question that will normally trigger any fallen angel negatively but surprisingly…
"Yes, if it's you then I will disobey the orders of the cadres and follow you."
In my mind, I shouted like a mad man and laughed haughtily. 'It work bitch! It works! Bow down and prostrate yourself to this supreme Lolimancer!'
Only moments later did my mind actually register what I just said that I stopped and mentally coughed.
"Then, will you submit yourself to me?" I ask the question that initiates the binding process if she accepts.
"Yes" Mittelt replied cheerfully to Kalawarna dismay and Raynare's shock.
Then I gave her a lot of rub and headpat that she very much enjoyed. Even when I pull away my hand, she will bring it back to her head and ask me to continue rubbing her head.
"Impossible! Did Mittelt betray us first? No, impossible. Mittelt is always next to me, it's impossible unless…" Kalawarna then lifted her to look at me.
"You have mind manipulation abilities! No wonder Raynare and Mittelt succumbed that easily. Is that right, Raynare?" Kalawarna asked.
Kalawarna isn't wrong as both Raynare and Mittelt are under mind manipulation. Raynare only have her body manipulated and enforcement obedience to not betray him but Mittelt is literally have her mind being fucked literally by the title ability. However, I feel less guilty since she isn't a human or an actual young girl.
Seeing that only Kalawarna left, I decided to simply give her the option to submit and join her friends or resist and join Dohnaseek. Naturally she joined her friends and submitted. After defeating everyone in the abandoned church, I didn't finish off Dohnaseek and stow him away, whichever can be used as target practice weapon testing.
Then I give a call to Rias, telling her to send someone to clean up the abandoned church. None of us want any civilian to stumble upon thawing body pieces after all.
