CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

LEAH'S/JAIME'S POV

Grinning mischievously, Logan points to his room. "Oh, no, you've got to be kidding" I said nervously. "My brother and sister will be here also" I added.

Shrugging his broad shoulder, "it doesn't matter, whichever room you choose, I'm going to be with you" Logan says firmly.

Frowning, "we're not married yet" I said defensively.

"That can be rectified tonight" Logan says thoughtfully, "yes, we can do that" Logan speaks to himself.

"Change in there, we'll sort out the sleeping arrangement later" he says looking at his watch. "My parents are probably here already" Logan says causing me to dash into his bedroom.

"Need help?" he asks following me to his room.

I walked into the room that is familiar to me. Even though Logan and I haven't had sex yet, when I come over we would hang out here. He understand my family values, especially being the guardian of two teenagers.

Putting my bag on the floor beside the bed , I stooped to rummage through for something suitable to wear in front my future in-laws.

"How did life get so messed up from one moment to the next?" I muttered

Lowering himself on the floor, "marry me" Logan's asks.

Giggling, "I already said yes" I responded, raising my hand flashing my ring in his face. "This looks familiar?" I asked.

Pulling my ring finger to his lips, "I mean, now, today" Logan explains with my finger to his lips, staring at me.

Startled, "why?" I ask suspiciously.

"You did say yes. Right?" he looks a my finger with a smirk.

Still unsure about what Logan is suggesting, "what are you saying Logan" I asked softly.

"I fell in love with you that first moment I saw you and I've been I'm love with you since then. Getting to know you has been an adventure, an adventure I desire to continue. Your passion for your job and your compassion for your brother and sister have confirmed that you and no one else will be the mother to our six kids" I gasp, when he said that.

Chuckling, "you understand what I'm saying, right?" he asks with questioning, hope in his eyes.

"Darn, you lawyers are good" I blurted out.

Grinning, "is that a yes?" he asks again.

Sitting on the floor, I jumped unto his lap, throwing my arms around his neck, kissing him on the side of his mouth. As I was about to move away, he tightened his grip on my shoulder pulling my face close to his. With his lips close to mines, he whispers "I love you", claiming my lips in a sensual kiss.

A knock on the door, cause us to break apart, still sitting on the floor wrapped in each others arms, Justin, Jer and Jess, walked in. "We're waiting downstairs and you guys are up here making out" Justin said with disgust.

Ignoring him as we gazed into each other eyes, "she said yes" Logan said.

"We know dude, we were there and we got it on camera" Jerome says with a bored tone.

Turning to look at them, as they joined us on the floor, "today" Logan says.

Frowning, while I grinned at their expressions. "We're making it official today" I explained.

"Okayaaa" Jess says. "Where?"

With a light slap on Jesse's head, "Vegas, duh," Jer clarifies for her.

Covering her mouth just as a scream started to seeping out. Flinging her hands in the air, "were going to Vegas today?" Jess asks excitedly.

Nodding, Logan gets off the floor pulling me up with him. "Change" Logan instructs, "then meet me downstairs" he says walking out with Justin, shutting the door behind him.

With a cautious expression, "you want this right" Jer asks.

"Yes" I told him, nodding. "I really love him and a fancy ceremony for the public is not who I am. Are you guys happy for me?" I asks misty eyed.

Hugging me, "Jamie you've sacrifice so much for us and this is your time and we support your time." Jess says with encouragement.

Crying, we did a group hug.

"Is this because of me?" Jer asks suddenly.

"What?" Jess and I ask at the sometime, confused with his question.

"Me and college" Jer explains.

Thinking about it now sounds like Logan, making a decision with Jer in mind.

"If Logan's proposal helps with your decision about college, then I love him more because like me, he's going to be a parental figure in your lives. I expect you guys to respect him because If today happens. he'll be your big brother" I said seriously.

"Yes, we will" Jess says quickly, "now about Vegas" she asks excitedly.

"When we go down, we'll know what's happening" I said, turning my back to Jess. "Now zip me down"

In ten minutes, we joined Logan and his parents in Logan's large living room. Deep down I afraid that his parents will object to a quick marriage.

Holding out his hand to me, I reached out entwining our hands smiling at him nervously. As if he sensed my fears, "our flight leaves in four hours" Logan informs us.

Clapping her hands excitedly. 'I can't wait" Jess says.

"Logan can we talk" Jer asks Logan.

"Ash.. the family talk" Mr. Daniels joked as Logan and my brother walks out of the room.

"Hey Jer, you need some help to knock some fear into him" Justin shouts, adding to the laughter

I knew what Jer needed to know as the question cross my mind. Did Logan propose now so that Jer won't stay back and give up his dreams.

I know Logan loves me but fear keeps propping up, bringing doubt along with it.

"Now we have to get rings and a dress for you" Mrs Daniels says excitedly.

"She already have a dress" Jess says softly.

"And a ring" I added

"Would it be inappropriate to marry Logan with a family ring that my grams give to me for my future husband?"
