Two completely different fictional characters that share one huge similarity. One fault that sort of ruins their identities.
Frankenstein created a monster and now his name is forever immortalized within that monster. I am willing to bet that most people believe that the monster's name is Frankenstein. It would probably feel really depressing to know that your creation is far more famous than you yourself, to the point that even your name was stolen.
And then you have the Legend of Zelda, a series where Link basically does everything but for some reason, the series is named after Zelda. Due to how misleading the name is, it can easily lead to the common misconception that the main character is called Zelda. Imagine how wierd it would be if some else became famous with your name. You'd definitely have a minor identity crisis, confused by the fact that although you're famous, nobody recognizes you.
