When it comes to investing advice, don't ever tell someone what they should or shouldn't invest in. When it comes to investing, there will always be risks. These potential risks can and definitely will ruin relationships.
Let's say you told a friend; "I've done a decent amount of research and I think that the stock of company A will most likely grow over the coming weeks. You should also invest some money." Your friend goes and invests 30k due to "trusting" you. 2 days later there's a massive fire at the factory of said company and the stock price plummets. Your "advice" has just cost your friend thousands of dollars.
It doesn't matter if the decline happened due to something completely out of your control, you're still partially at fault.
You're better off just gifting money than giving investment advice.
