Celebratory Gunfire
Any country that allows the possession of a firearm definitely has idots that will misuse their rights. This can for example be in the form of celebratory gunfire.
Even an idiot should know that bullets shot upwards have to come back down somewhere. When they do land, they can definitely seriously injure or even kill innocent bystanders. In the worst case scenario, you aren't even safe at home where a stray bullet could just penetrate your window/ thin roof/ thin walls.
The 4th of July is thus very dangerous in certain areas and you might not even be completely safe at home.
Celebratory gunfire is also culturally accepted in parts of the Balkans, parts of Russia, the Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and parts of the United States (even when illegal).
